My partner and I recently had an enjoyable stay at The Peninsula, Bangkok. Although we usually stay at the Shangrila-La, we decide to "break out" and cross the Chao Phraya and sample the Peninsula's hospitality. Probably just as well given the Chelsea FC were in residence. Well we enjoyed our stay and had a great view from our 33rd floor...

It's all been said before but we the service of this amazing team must be congratulated. 5 star in everything and absolutely unpretentious and no stuffiness. We had only a short stay but used everything. The ultra comfy limousine service from and to the airport, the Lovely Thai restaurant, the river restaurant for the amazing breakfast buffet, the truly memorable...

I've never responded to someone else's review before but wockinwood's review was so scathing of my favourite hotel, I feel bound to say something. I've stayed at the Manderin Oriental and it is a great hotel, but the Peninsula has it all over it in many respects. Sad about your problems, but they happen in the best hotels at times....

We stayed at The Pennisula for 4 days coming off a cruise... and the stay was perfect. From the hotel car meeting us at the pier, to the lovely staff waiting at the door to whisk us up to our room to check us in there, to the great meals,to the great guide they lined up for us to our...

I planned a 2 week Thailand trip with my wife and two boys, 8 and 9. We have been thrilled with this hotel. It offers a great place to chill, with lovely pool, pool bar and countless eateries. We had two great interconnecting rooms overlooking the river. At the start of our stay Chelsea FC were in town playing the...

Back to Bangkok to meet my partner for a few days and as we had access to an offer of a free night at the Peninsula it seemed an offer too good to refuse. The free night was for an entry level room but decision was made to use it toward a higher class room which was a Grand Deluxe...

First of all, the staff for the most part bend over backwards for you. They truly are a 5 star hotel and are very hospitable. The rooms were amazing. We booked a balcony hotel but they upgraded us to a suite. I've stayed in four seasons hotels and grand hyatts but this was by far the best hotel ever. My...

I can only complain about a few small things, but here you go 1. The pool is pretty small, and stacked, so you have a pool that flows down, its long and narrow and you have like 4 or 5 pools that interlock. Would be nice to have a larger pool for laps etc 2. Balconies - I don't believe...

No other hotel in the world feels as warm and comfortable as a Peninsula Hotel and the location in Bangkok lives up to that and more. From the moment you walk in to the water taxi that shuttles you across the river. Spacious and comfortable rooms with fantastic Internet service and great views of the Bangkok skyline. Would definetly visit...
