This is a very beautiful Siamese/Thai inspired styled hotel that’s very well kept in a centralized location of Bangkok that’s close to embassies.
We stayed in The Athenee Prestige corner room 1501 with the view overlooking Witthayu Rd. and Ambassadors residence. Very clean rooms (really appreciates the house keeping teams here), harmonious scent in the hallway like if you’re entering a spa. Prestige corner rooms has desk where you can work(there are also a business center in the building), a separate living area with couch. Athenee prestige rooms reaches up to the 17th floor and are located on all corners except the one facing Max Value convenient store. The room was well composed, but unfortunately a little bit noise polluted (not sure what the WHO states about noise pollutions and acoustics windows for buildings next to a busy road) and if you’re noise sensitive, you might consider requesting rooms on the other sides.
Club Lounge is a nice area, I don’t think guests here has trouble finding restaurants or food in the area. But it felt poor and hostile for a hotel at this class that they were picking away dishes and cutlery’s right before we grabbed it, staffs were rushing to clear out hors d'oeuvres even though we checked in a bit late to the hotel and was late to the lounge, could at least have asked us or wait for us to get the cutlery’s.

We had two stays at this property one of which was a milestone wedding anniversary stay.
The location is walking distance to shopping, restaurants and massage places and their own restaurant where we thoroughly enjoyed morning breakfasts consisting of a huge selection of exotic fruits, fresh squeezed juicers and hot made to order international selections.
As Platinum members we were upgraded on both stays to a one-bedroom club floor access room with special amenities personally designed to compliment our anniversary including an Hawaii Themed cake and orchids our favourite flower!
The suite was uniquely and modernly furnished in a stately boutique style that was not only comfortable but contemporized with plenty of USB charging ports bedside and about the suite.
We extend our appreciation to each and every member of the hotel we interacted with, including all the fine staffs in the executive lounge who made us feel valued each and every day.
In particular we would like to recognize Nan & Donna who went over and above in making each day a pleasure and just know they are both an asset to the executive club and we very much thank them both for all their help and support along with their cheery demeaner in making each day a joy!
After all your efforts, we hesitate to make mention of a very negative issue that we did not notice until we had reached our next destination.
We had laundry done at the hotel on the day prior to departure and upon return of the items at the hotel we packed them away for travel - On arrival in Yangon we were quite dismayed to find the items we had sent for laundry had shrunk one to two sizes and no long fit us to the point we can no longer wear the laundered items.
We made multiple requests directly and finally through Marriot for the hotel to address the laundry issue. Except for the first email, all subsequent communications went ignored. Some three months after our stay and at the direct request of Marriott Bonvoy the hotel offered to refund us the price, we paid for laundry only. There was no compensation or acceptance of the damage to our expensive and new clothing.
We had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at this unique boutique property and we are grateful to all the awesome staffs who contributed to our celebration of a milestone anniversary.
It is unfortunate our stay was negated by the fact that the property could not or would not accept responsibility for the hundreds of dollars in damage to our personal clothing & for that reason we would book another property on our next visit to Bangkok!

The Athenee Hotel is in good location just next to Phloen Chit BTS Station. The whole hotel keeps in nice & clean condition. As Bonvoy Club member we be taken to the Royal Club Lunge for checking in. The staff were very professional and with patience to introduce the facilities & services. The service of The Royal Club Lunge was very excellent and joyful. There's a warm welcome letter and refreshment on the desk in our room. In 2 nights staying, the cleanliness of room was good. The night bed service of first night was great, we soaked in the nice bath with essential oil & salt they provided. Drinking water and glass was placed on the bed side cabinets, and slippers were ready too. But the night bed service of second night was disappointed. Overall The Atheness Hotel is a great place to stay in Bangkok.

I have stayed at this hotel for 10 days and this hotel is a great hotel to stay in the centre of the Bangkok. Great location for shopping at Central Embassy or traveling to nearby place by BTS. If you don't want to walk in the sun I suggest walking towards the office building and passing the front of the convenience store which will go through the BTS Ploenchit station.
The hotel has several restaurants such as The Allium Bangkok (FR), Rain Tree Cafe (Int. Buffet), Kintsugi (JP), The silk road (CN), and The house of smooth curry (TH). I tried going to have dinner at the house of smooth curry and the silk road restaurant. Both restaurants had excellent service and great tasting food at a reasonable price. Breakfast is served at the Rain Tree restaurant which is tasty and has a wide variety of choices but I don't really like the fresh juice zone because they don't clean the machine well before proceeding the next order so the juice will have the flavor of the vegetables or fruits from last order.
The hotel has a swimming pool and fitness center but reservations are required during COVID-19 periods. The fitness center is open 24 hours, clean, and has a variety of equipment. The lounge is located on the 26th floor for afternoon tea and evening cocktails. In my opinion, the cocktails taste not good enough compared to other lounge hotels :(
We have chosen a corner room which has a larger room than other room types (exclude suites room type). I got a room on the 7th floor, clean room, spacious and beautiful view. The bed was comfy and big enough for 2 people. The bathroom has a complete amenity kit, a bathtub separated from the shower area, and toilets with bidet spray. In the minibar section, I like the green tea and lemongrass that they provide because good smell and taste.
The hotel's housekeeping team is highly talked about the excellent service polite, and friendly from customers. It was one of the reasons I came to this hotel and it impressed me from first day as I have heard it. The housekeeping came in and asked my name and they remembered my name and preferences throughout the stay. They can provided decors such as animal dolls, flower vase, and mix oil or bubble bathtub if you request.
We came to this hotel first time and we had some problems when we check-in at hotel. The hotel staffs came to help us in a friendly and professional manner. Thank you K. While my family and I are regular international travelers, rarely am I inclined to write a review about our accommodations during these trips. The staff at the Athenee compelled me to express my sincere praise for their efforts to make our stay in Bangkok enjoyable and relaxing. From the Front Office Manager (Tasaporn) to Nan, the Club Lounge Manager and everyone else, the Athenee staff bent over backwards to make our recent trip to Bangkok the most memorable ever for my family. Other managers like Christian and the concierge, Thiplada, greeted us by name as we passed through the bustling lobby, always checking to make sure that our stay at the Athenee was perfect. Nan and Alice in the Club Lounge quickly learned our four children's names and developed a warm relationship with each of them. We were celebrating our anniversary and two of our kids' birthdays on this trip and the staff generously provided a cake, complete with candles and a personalized message, in addition to a bottle of champagne to contribute to our celebration. While the room was absolutely amazing and the expansive breakfast and club lounge heavy hors d'oeuvres in the evening rivaled any fare that area restaurants could possibly offer, it was the impeccable service that solidified my loyalty to the Athenee for future visits to Bangkok.

Service is one of the best I found in Bangkok, attentiveness at its best.
Booked to celebrate a birthday for my girlfriend, The reservation staff got this info and the housekeeping team prepares the decoration for it. Thanks, Khun Pinit and Khun Sangdao for this wonderful preparation and also the great care of the room for the whole period.
The birthday surprise including, bed decoration with the name, balloons, flower arrangement, delicious blueberry cheesecake, and a personalized note.
The hotel location is close to a skytrain station (3-5 minutes walk), in a very safe area, my room's view is green space with a city view behind.
The room is well maintained, everything met 5 stars standard. Amenities from Thann are quite high in quality.
4 restaurants in the hotel, Chinese, Japanese, French, and Thai Cuisine. All seem famous, I tried the Chinese one, and it's delicious. The Peking duck is excellent (1,800++).
Club Lounge provides enough for a full meal, which is not normally found in other hotels, rice with 4 other Thai dishes buffet.
Overall, better than expected. Worth the Luxury Hotel Collection.

Visit Raintree Cafe for brunch. First time try the nitrogen ice cream & I really love it! Love the atmosphere of Walanya private area (sorry if I misspell the name), cozy & beautiful.
All staffs are very polite & attentive. They stand by the buffet line & offering to take your selection from hot dish directly to your plate to avoid hand touch from many guests. This made me feel more safe during pandemic situation.
Thanks for exellent service from Jiratcha who going the extra-mile to fulfill our request. Raintree is become my favorite place, definitely come back & recommend to friends & co-workers.

I think it’s the best breakfast in a hotel I have ever had. For a travelers, it’s top notch quality and a culinary delight which tantalizes your taste buds. We stay in the Athenee with special offered as Marriott Bonvoy enjoy very much in the hotel. Breakfast are very good selection of international food that for sure guest will be happy. The staff from the Athenee are professional and friendly from everywhere. Breakfast took care very well from Ms. Marisa who are super attentive and well organized for our breakfast requested. Room is very clean , car park is available 24 hrs. What else we want more only wait to come back to stay again though !!
