The location is pretty average with convenient tuk tuk transportation - make sure you have a google map or similar since the cabbie may not know the exact location.

we had a wonderful 4 night stay at the montien surawong. the hotel obviously has had its days, but what makes it all up was the service by the staffs, particularly the FNB staffs, and the generous breakfast buffet.

Stayed at the Montien as it was recommended by the fair we were visiting. The hotel is outdated, the lobby, rooms bathrooms need urgent renovation, the shower didnt work at all.

I guess the only way to wake up the owners of Montien is that all Tripadvisors readers & participants boycott this chain.
There are lots of just as convenient & affordable hotels in the area....
