All aspects of this hotel were outstanding. The decor was elegant, the bed was very comfortable, and it was a pleasure to stay there. The service really stood out. For example, I injured my knee in the process of traveling from the US to Thailand. When I arrived at the hotel, the gentleman who helped us from the taxi realized...

Nice location for business meetings. The food quality at the restaurants and even catering for meetings were also quite good. The business center has nice staff which didn't charge for minor printing services such as boarding passes. Rates were reasonable, too.

As a plat member this was my go-to hotel when visiting. Normally service was top notch, always always upgraded, and the exec lounge first rate. The last visit, service was quite what I've come to expect, wasn't upgraded, and it was showing it's age a bit. Still, the exec lounge cannot be beat and the fitness center will rival any...

The rooms are well decorated and maintained. The beds are firm and comfortable. The room came stocked with many amenities including bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouth wash, moisturizer, toothbrush, sewing kit and vanity kit. A hair dryer is provided as well as bathrobes and slippers. While the rooms are well appointed what really makes the hotel stand out...

My wife and I had an outstanding experience staying at the JW Marriott. I can't say enough good things about the staff in the executive lounge. They anticipated your every need and were exceptionally polite and attentive. The hotel is in a great location and tour services arranged there were phenominal.

I have stayed here many times over the years and even given 5 stars, but this may be my last stay. The room rates continue to increase while the hotel is in decline. The plus is still location. The air conditioner in my room was very noisy and I had to turn it off at times. I don't remember this...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
