We're going to spend just a night here at Khao San & decided to check into this guest house, highly recommended & review by many on website. Without disappointment it live up to its reputation, easily accessible from a main road & minutes within walking distance to the infamous Khao San Street & Soi Rambuttri(where pubs, clubs, restaurants, eateries &...

I chose Korbua House due to its location to Kho San road. It was close enough to walk but not close enough to hear the noise. The room was large, clean bathroom, and awesome balcony to have a little outside space. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant is good but if you walk out...

Great location near to Khao San road but far enough away for a good nights sleep. Rooms clean and tidy and staff friendly. The canal view room was nice, roomy and the view was not bad. I am staying here again in July!

I would highly recommend Korbua House to everyone!| Staff was great, very nice, friendly and helpful (who isn`t in Thailand!). We were dining there twice as well and food was excellent. Rooms are big and being cleaned every day. Bed is comfortable, there is air con and TV. You can sit outside at the canal and enjoy watching warans :D...

We booked to stay at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of our travels. The room itself was spacious and modern and had a lovely bathroom with a massive waterfall shower. The hotel is well maintained and had a nice little seating area overlooking the river, where we had a few drinks and snacks. It was close to...

Excellent location near Khao San Road but in a quiet area. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is good and there are many other sites in the area to eat. A small drawback is that we had no soap in the bathroom, only shampoo and shower gel.

Close to the nightlife of Khao San Road and a walk to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, very handy indeed. The room I had was very small, but cheap and great for one person. The hotel sits above a canal and if Khao San Road is not your thing, then cross the little foot bridge and go have a...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and were really happy with our choice. Previous reviews mention a bad smell (which we were prepared to cope with as the hotel is right next to water) but we didn't experience any. The room was spotless, bed comfy and the little bar next to water was a nice spot to relax...

The hotel itself was very nice, good service, an ok restaurant, and great location, just down the street from Khoa San Road. The location provides for a quit night's sleep. The room was small, but clean, sunny and nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. However, thanks to the nearby canal, the sewage smells in and around the hotel aren't so...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
