It was one of the cheapest hostels near Khao San. It's simply but clean and they have wifi. When you arrive you have to pay 300bhats, which will be returned when you leave the hostel. I don't recommend you to pay for a room with window, it doesn't worth it.

Nothing extraordinary but clean and correct. A little bit old, but all the things worked well enough. Crossing the street is Khao San Road, but if you choose the rooms that are to the other side, you can be really quite and dont listen to all the party. Despite this You can listen to drunk people outside the rooms, but...

Lucky House is a good place to stay in for short periods of time. We only stayed a night and we found it clean with a working toilet, shower with warm water, and AC. Proximity to Khao San Road is great, if that's what you're looking for. It's close enough to be less than 5 minutes away without the noise...

The location of the hotel is superb, just outside kao San road. The rooms were a little bit dirty and very small. The staff was friendly and we could leave our bags there the day we left. Overall not a bad experience for the price

This guest house is amazingly situated for travellers wanting to experience a bit of Khao San Road, the drinking hotspot of Bangkok. Less than a minutes walk to Khao San Road, 10 minutes from MBK shopping centre (150baht tuk tuk) and not far from local temples such as Wat Pho and the Palace of the Emerald Buddha. This guest house...

First I would recommemd to book a room with a window (if there are any). Our room was clean. The air condition worked very well. We had a TV. Unfortunately there was only one socket. The size of the bathroom is ok, I think one of the biggest we had in Thailand. The wifi worked well. There is 24 hour...

I was checked in the 4th floor and it was a challenge. They dont have the lift so big luggages are such a problem. Their lobby is on the 1st floor so you need to take the stairs to get in to the lobby but they have lift available only for your baggage. You need to consider bringing an extension...

At first i book the hotel because it's near from khaosan, but not get the noisy part of it. I booked 2 nights for a double room because i was with a friend, but when i came with two friends, they let us stay as long as we pay 300thb for all the nights we booked. The reception even printed...

The room is small and the place is near Khao San Rd., and not in the road itself so that's a good thing. We stayed in a windowless room in the fourth or fifth floor. It's acceptable but not for those whose lifestyles are sedentary. Clean bathroom. The only problems are the slow internet and the lack of elevator.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
