U-Baan is our favourite of all guesthouses we've stayed in our travels. Stayed there three times and will absolutely stay there next time we're in lovely Bangkok. The double rooms are perfectly clean and have all you need. Wifi extends even to the fourth floor. So comfortable, would gladly just live in one of the rooms for ages :D Location...

I mostly stayed at hotels 4 out of the previous 5 cities I was in between Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. This being the second consecutive non-hotel. After the experience I had with a hostel in Siem Reap I wasn't expecting too much, as I went here on a whim with a traveler met along the way from Siem Reap. Granted...

This hostel is unlike any guesthouse we've come across during our time in Asia. The rooms are very clean and functional, but nothing special. It is Joy, the owner, who makes the place so special! She will answer any question and gives good advice on where to eat or how to get around. The common area is really cosy and Joy...

Joy (the lovely hostel owner) is the best! Nice Hostel located on the BTS (Skytrain). My best recommendation!!! We gonna join all our stays in Bangkok at the u-baan hostel. It's including air condition and perfect cleaned. Nice prospect on the rooftop!

Thank you so much to our lovely sarcastic, down-to-earth and relatable host, Joy! We had a lovely stay at this homely, friendly hostel which is personally decorated and tended to by Joy. The beds are really comfortable, the wifi excellent and it is very close to the Skytrain station which puts the entire city on your doorstep! We loved our...

The rooms are smaller and basic - what would you expect at that great price! Value is there for sure! Wifi was fast, room clean, bathroom everything you need, AC works well. Joy is so very helpful and fun to chat with! She'll tell you the good, bad, and ugly of Bangkok! The place was a bit difficult for our...

I stayed here for 2 nights, and it was one of the most amazing places i have stayed so far. Simple, but you'll feel at home because of Joy, who owns the place. She helps all her guests with whatever you need or ask about local stuff. In addition, her place is close to skytrain, awesome streetfood, etc. almost everything!...

First stop in SEA, basic but clean facilities and incredibly helpful owner (Joy), with a great sense of humour too! She gives great advice on where to go, places to eat, how much to expect to pay for things. Good location near SkyTrain. Cute and friendly cat too (maybe not for those with cat allergies).

We stayed at Joy's place twice during our trip to Thailand and the second time it felt just like coming home! Joy is an effortlessly brilliant host who let us wash two huge bags of laundry literally as soon as we arrived (for no extra cost) and use her kettle and fridge to make endless cups of tea during our...

I stayed for 2 nights here, and there was three of us, we shared the triple dorm like room. The room was quite small, but clean and cosy. The host, Joy is great, speaks exceptional English and provides great knowledge of Thailand. The location gives you more of a 'proper Thai feel' as the hostel is surrounded by local street...
