Location is excellent. It is tourist area so there are many places to eat, drink, buy, exchange money and book everything you need but not too crowded. it was quiet at night. Not far from boat stations. Staff are helpful. 2 floor were under repairing and it seems it will be finished soon. We came to Bangkok by a bus...

We stayed at Four Sons Village on early November for one night before leaving to Chiang Mai. We booked twin bed private room with balcony via hotels.com and it was fairly easy that way. We were quite confused with the clock after travelling over 24 hours but we were allowed to check in before actual check-in time. Unfortunately there were...

Me and my bf stayed here two times in october. We're very pleased with our time at Four Sons Village. Floor 5 and 6 had just been renovated so the rooms felt very fresh. During our stay the other floors were being renovated so my guess is they will shortly be available as well. Their bathroom is the one I've...

We stayed here one night before going to Vietnam and it was the worst place I've ever seen. Our room was small and really, really filthy. There were oily hand prints on the wall near the bed and a whole bunch of other wierd stuff smeered on the walls. We dont have very high standards since we're travelling on a...

Appeared fairly clean, no bugs or cockroaches, very good location and very quiet at night despite being close to lots of bars and restaurants. Also wifi is free and very fast. The rooms are very dated, dusty and smell of smoke. The room was an adequate size but the set up was strange; there was an old and dusty TV...

Basic accommodation, in need of a good clean up and refurbishment. Ideal location for Kho San Road but far enough away to get a nights sleep. Also good location for Royal Palace and others places of interest. They requested a 500 baht (£10) key deposit at check in, which we didn't have as last night before flight home but agreed...

Me and my Wife were walking in the rambuttri area, when a nice and cosy restaurant inside the hotel caught our eyes! The stuff was very kind to us! We did enjoy fresh pasta while my wife had some fish! The food was very delicious, and next time we will come to Bangkok it will be a must to go...

I had a reservation from booking that said that the double room costs 15$ which means in current thb is 420, after being rude on trying to find my reservation and telling me I booked it 2 days ago ( which I did but for this night and I have a proof ) they asked for 600 thb, in a...

We stumbled upon this hotel at 6.30am after a 12 hour train ride in hope of stay one night to get out heads down. This soon turned into 3 nights as its location is near the notorious Koh San Road. I returned one month later after traveling to Laos to stay another time as the room for a double bed...

When we first arrived they didn't have our booking but managed to find us a room, it was pretty average but seeing as it was only one night we decided to stay. We had terrible service from the front desk that moment onwards - we asked if they had/knew of laundry service near by - NO. Do you have luggage...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
