Pros: Well located. 5 min walk from Koh San Road. Clean room with excellent A/C. Cheap price for a late check-out at 4pm. Excellent wifi speed connection. Cons: we don't recommend the travel agency or the restaurant which seem to be part of the village.

Not very many people in but possibly because this place is after the alley leading from soi rambuttri to pra arthrit. Not very comfortable chairs which really needed cushions. On the plus side large Chang beer only 80 baths. Also a travel agent on premises.

Four Sons is located close to Khao San and the river ferries. I read some bad reviews about this place but I stayed here 5 nights and i had no problems at all. My room was cleaned daily although the building is showing its age. I was on the 4th floor and had a view out across the city. No...

Stayed here for a couple of nights passing through BKK. + Location Balcony quite good - Run down Plastic mattress (made to rebuff up all those sweats and spills from the 'extra guest' policy) Not very clean - at all (street dogs sleeping on tables of adjoining restaurant kind of level) Had a kind of sad energy to it as...

Originally walked in and booked for one night, really liked the place and stayed for an extra night. Quite basic but two minutes away from the madness of Khoa San Road. Definitely worth the money and recommended staying here!

Absolutely nothing bad to say about the Four Sons. We had a balcony room and you would have a hard time finding anything remotely close to our room for the same price. The staff were lovely! Smiles every morning & we were surprised that after reading the reviews of English being difficult we found the Thai gentleman at the front...

The balcony rooms at Four Sons Village are very good value! Although the hotel is not very luxury, the balcony rooms are very good. The location is quiet, but still in the middle of all the restaurants and facilities. I would stay here again!

We stayed 5 days here. Pros: - Close to Khao San road and all the nightlife - Cheap (but basic) - Peaceful at night to sleep - Lots of cheap eating places, massage places, 7/11's on your doorstep - Under 10 mins on foot to the riverboat pier  - Rooms basic but functional & cleaned every day if your put the...

My husband and i had initially booked 3 nights and were taken to a very small room. We asked to be shifted to a bigger room with additional cost as we were planning to stay for 2 more days. We were given a twin rin on 4 th floors. Beware there is no lift so had to carry the bags...

I Always stay here when I visit Bangkok as so convenient - Location is perfect, just off Kao San road so not too crazy - rooms spacious, clean, satellite tv, good powerful shower, decent bed, nice balcony - very reasonable price - happy days :)

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
