Unfortunately, I only stayed here for one night after returning from Kanchanaburi. Wished I had booked my first two nights in Bangkok on this trip at this hotel a well. After staying at three other properties in the Sukhumvit area over the last few years, this is a gem of a find. Hotel's room is almost twice as large as...

If you are alone and looking for a place to stay the night (whether it is for business or leisure, who stays in the hotel in Bangkok anyway?!?!), this is the place to bunk. Simple, clean and working amenities. Wifi is not so reliable (I had a mobile wifi device so it didn't affect me much) and TV programs were...

It's a 10 -15 mins walk from Phrom Phong, a BTS station linked to two upscale malls and only a couple stops away from Siam, if you would visit more shopping outlets. The thing is, the hotel is tucked away in a side road lined with a mix of food stalls and massage centers (with sexy girls/women outside). The pavement...

Terrible place. Aside from older larger rooms, and a great massage parlor in the court yard (Dozo), the place is awful. Bad service, uneatable breakfast, coffee that tastes like it is from a POW camp, and worst, Internet service that is band width restricted, so you can't connect to anything.

Sometimes you can get the rooms here for as low as 900 Baht if you book early. The rooms are great - modern, clean, everything works plus a very comfortable bed. You do not get a pool or gym but then you're not paying for it. If all you need is a very good reasonably priced room in the centre...

This hotel is a cracker. Tucked away somewhat from the soi but easy enough to find. The rooms are great - cool, clean and adequately large. It is very modern. It has a nice outdoor bar area and is close to some fantastic night life as well as the MRT station. The breakfast is simple and straightforward but excellent food...

Small but efficient room. Comfortable bed (not too firm). Nice sized shower and bathroom. 2 blocks from Phrom Phong BTS train station. Breakfast included in room price. Great staff. Clean & modern. Under $45 USD per night. Lots of street food. Will stay here again.

I only stayed here one night but was surprised by the amenities in the room. Everything was there, from water to various toiletries, slippers, coffee & tea facilities, some book on Buddhism (which actually turned out to be interesting), free and pretty fast Wifi, as well as quirky features such as customized coffee cups and a teddy bear sitting on...

S33 Hotel, Bangkok I'm a returning customer since 4 years as I have much liked your hotel, but now I do have a complaint. I was horrified when I noticed that the bathroom WC did not have space for the legs, only about 12 cm! How can the architect or construction controller even accept such a solution? How on earth...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
