We only spent our first night in Thailand here, before travelling to Chiang Mai the following day. Buddy Boutique Inn fit the bill for what we were after, and we were not disappointed. The hotel is very minimalistic in its approach, and everything is made from polished concrete, but this only adds to the clean appearance of the place. The...

My wife and I are beginning what we hope will be a year of back packing around SE Asia and Australia and booked this hotel as our first stop as we are both 30/31 and wanted to ease ourselves in gently before we hit the cheaper hostels. Located just off Kao San Road, it was a perfect location because we...

Stayed three nights at buddy boutique! Staff were very friendly & helpful! Location is great if you want to be close to Khao San Road but not so close as to hear the noise! Would recommend for people as it's close to major sights as the Grand Palace & Wat Pho!

After 2 nights with no window was a bit claustrophobic but a good and decent hotel in a great location. Always friendly staff and clean. A great first time to Bangkok stay - walking distance to the temples don't let the Drivers tell you otherwise!

Dear Lucie S, Thank you for staying at the Buddy Boutique Inn, just off the famous Khaosan Road area of Bangkok. As you mention the Buddy Boutique Inn is right in the thick of the Khaosan Road action. You can literally walk straight out our front door and you are immediately in the famous Khaosan Road street market, which also...

Buddy provides everything you need for a few nights in Bangkok: cleaniless, good custormer service and a very decent room. Its location is walking distance from the Grand Palace and next to Khaosan Road. My only comment is that some rooms have no windows you still get the annoying noise of Khaosan until about 2 in the morning. If you're...

In the middle of the huzzle and buzzle of Khaosan, but the room was still quiet. Rooms were clean and pretty and the staff was great. Only minus for the fact that u needed to walk a bit to get to the rooftop pool. Over all very good value for your money!

Nice little hotel in near Khao San Road. The rooms where nice and we had a balcony (not much of a view, but being a smoker meant didn't have to keep going downstairs every time). There was a safe in the room to keep your valuables and a mini fridge with plenty of space if you brought your own drinks/food...

If you want to experience the busy and loud Bangkok, stay here. We were right in the centre of it all without being disturbed at night. If you're a budget traveler/backpacker looking for a cheap place to stay steps away from Khao San Road, this may be a good option. If you're over 30 yrs old looking for a "nice" place or traveling with your wife/gf/daughters etc, I'd look someplace else. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are a bit dingy. Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
