Very clean and beautiful hostel, with great staff and many people to meet there. Its the perfect place to meet new people who often just arrived in Thailand/Bangkok. It is located in a quiet area, apart from the big big party places. Still there is a lot to do in the surrounding, like markets, a Skybar bars and more... The...

Miss bee the owner is so friendly and hardworking. It's a chilled out hostel, not like the ones on khao San road. There is a great chill area, where you can meet fellow travelers. The hostel is spotlessly clean, I love this place and I highly recommend it if you want a clean well run hostel that's very laid back....

Lovely assistance, very very clean, everyone is always willing to help, very cute breakfast, change office, massage saloons, nice markets and street food around. Showers are great, wifi works well. The only thing that might bother the backpackers is that it doesn't have the "social backpackers atmosphere" which is not really the hostels fault.. its just a quiet place. I...

Stayed here for 3 nights in a dorm room with 8 beds and absolutely loved it! Everything was nice and clean and the staff was so helpful and kind. It was easy to get around with both sky train and metro, about a 10min walk from the hostel!

Super friendly staff and very clean bathrooms. Bonus point: We lost our key card in the night, but it was no problem to get in our room after we called the housekeeper to let us back in. Even then she was super friendly. In a nutshell a pretty good Hostel in the center of Bangkok.

This place is now my retreat in Bangkok, be it just for a layover, or a few days visit to Bangkok. Close to amenities and the sky train. The people who run this place are fantastic, they help you book taxis and buses/trains to many other places in Thailand. Although this is not a party hostel, I still met some...

I chose to stay at Smile Society because it was in the financial district (away from backpackers chaos). The staff were awesome, and the fellow travelers were super fun! We organized some trips through the hostel, and they allowed me to keep my big bag locked up for free. Fast wifi, good service, and a real community vibe. If you...

I stayed two nights at Smile Society & absolutely loved it. The Innkeepers cum Owners are very welcoming and hospitable and make you feel at home. They have good information on the whereabouts in Bangkok and do everything to assist their guests during their stay. I had a great, clean, and comfortable room with AC, mini fridge, satellite LED TV...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
