Great hostel! Helpful staff, excellent location and very close to the skyrail which is cheap and easy to use to get around the city. Delicious street food nearby! Showers are amazing!!! They even supply shampoo and body gel! Comfy bunks with proper mattresses, good aircon and strong wifi. A great way to finish my trip around Asia!

I've stayed at Smile Society a total of four times and all my visits has been very pleasant. It is a really relaxed hostel, hid away from all the noise of Bangkok but still in the most perfect location. The staff is friendly and the owner speaks perfect English and is very helpful. Met many cool people here passing through...

Great hostel in all ways, the staff is really nice and helpful. They helped us out with getting our bus & ferry tickets to the south of Thailand. She took care of all of this for us. Lovely ladie and always willing to help. Good location, clean rooms, good beds and great vibe!

Smile society was clean and conveniently located to the sky train. The woman who works the front desk was always able to help us out whether it was to find good places to eat or how to get to sights around Bangkok. My girlfriend and I have stayed on two separate occasions now.

Great location and helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, could be better with a different options day by day. For two days we booked a day trip and left the hotel early so the hotel prepared a take away breakfast which was perfect! What we really like in the hotel was the cleanness in all areas, especially in our room. There...

Great hostel to stay at while in Bangkok. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable, they even packed me a breakfast without me asking and saw me out the door when I had to leave at 5AM to catch a train. I have stayed here twice and both times the rooms have been clean and comfortable.

I love everything about this hostel. It's in the middle of Silom road, Great night market with plenty of street food and restaurants to dine in. Close to the BTS station. The hostel is very clean and these are the most comfortable beds I've slept in on my trip throughout Thailand. There's a common room with a big couch and...

The rooms are clean and everyone is friendly. Good location and decent breakfast. It's Bea's helpfulness and enthusiasm that makes this such a good hostel.. She even made us a take away breakfast when we left early to go to Siem Reap! Definitely recommend it

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
