I stayed in this homestay with my wife a year ago. I chose the homestay according to tripadvisor rating and traveller's comment who had visited the homestay before. The fact that the homestay was cozy and clean. You'll find friendly staff with the travel suggestions. Since my wife like to shop, the staff suggested to visit the local markets, and...

Smile society is just for a society that wants to smile. Having a good accomodation close to the main attractions in town and easy to access everywhere paying reasonable prices is just a good argument to stay there. The hostel lady is very helpful and knows a lot of useful information. Rooms are spacious and clean, shower is fine and...

Very clean place with not too much room in the rooms (fairly standard for Bangkok) but roomy bathroom in the private ensuite. The woman at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful - gave good advice and recommendations for the city. Free breakfast included is nice though pretty basic. Great location close to BST - would definitely stay again

Bee runs the cleanest hostel in Thailand, her staff is always busy Doing something and they change your bed sheets everyday. Breakfast is good, the proximity to everything is excellent (close to skytrain so it's cheap to go anywhere inc. Airport). I will come back here when I return to bangkok

I stayed at Smile Society for 8 nights in May. I was greeted warmly and shown around the hostel. The 8 bed dorm in which I stayed was clean, with a locker provided. The AC worked and bathroom also clean - a huge bonus. The first floor was a communal floor, which was great for meeting people :) there are...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
