This is a wonderful wooden place right on the river. You can hear the slapping of the water as you nod off to sleep. There is some noise from the Chao Phraya in the form of cruise boats going by, but I didn't find it very disruptive at all. The balconies provide a wonderful space to watch the sunset. You...

Loy Lalong This is fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Bangkok and so close to the Chau Praya River that the water occasionally comes through the floorboards after a big boat goes past! We stayed in the Black room specifically because it has its own deck though this is very small. However, with the river right outside...

If you interested in staying in a nice little quirky place literality on top of the riverside , then Loy la Long is the right place to stay . It's located inside a temple so you get a bit of an authentic Experience seeing what the monks do on a daily basis! It's also less than a kilometre to walk...

This is a "rustic" hotel. Quiet apart from the river traffic, especially with the large evening tourist boats and their loud music and commentaries. Being a single guest I was given room 6, the orange room. The room was very small with nowhere but the floor to put my bag, making the floorspace even less. To turn the light on...

A fantastic place to stay in Bangkok. Nice and cosy rooms, a great relaxed atmosphere and a perfect view of the Chao Praya. We instantly felt at home after entering the hotel. Stayed in the Blue Room upstairs which can be a bit loud dur to the air conditioning compressors mounted right on the wall. Ear plugs are provided though...

Difficult to find but that makes it all the more exciting. Charming, rustic, and with amazing views of the Chao Praya River. The staff are really nice, although, a bit slow (must remember to let it be, let it go, let it flow.) Decor is very cute. Loved the Blue room. Loved having breakfast overlooking the Chao Praya river. Warning...

The best part of this place is their second floor deck. My friends and I literally spent hours just watching the boats motor past. They also (for S.E. Asia) have a pretty good beer selection in their cooler. That was just a bonus. We had a lot of fun waving to the tourists on boats from the deck. So just...

Loy La Long was such a beautiful, joyful space to call home. The staff were amazing, helping me to organise some day trips and even offering to take me to the flower market. A few women were staying who had been several weeks previously, but had been robbed en route back to Bangkok. The staff took them in without charge...

Loy La Long OOZES charm. Most hotels in Bangkok are high rises, not Loy La Long. You walk down a small alley and ring the bell and are escorted into an old fish sauce factory. You take off your shoes and enter a small, perfect teak building right on the river. They will cater to your every need. Funky rooms..we...

This place has to be experienced to be believed... Right on the river it is in the heart of Chinatown.. I stayed in the Orange room and although small it was perfect for me...and in contrast to a previous review the a/c worked perfectly...staff were so nice and friendly and really helpful... We took cabs everywhere from here and although...
