This hotel is in a great location and close to the Sky Train. The staff here are fabulous, they are attentive and pull out all the stops. The rooms are very comfortable and what we loved is the media hub meaning we could plug our electricals in to work through the TV. There was also a very well written guide...

Good Afternoon Kate B, Thank you for taking the time to provide a 5 star review of our Hotel. It is a pleasure to read your review and the things you mention is one of the perks of staying at a smaller hotel, we can do those extra little things that bigger hotels struggle with. Thank you as well for...

Have stayed at this property a few years ago so when we had to stay a night in BKK the choice was obvious - Park Plaza! Arriving early from the airport one of the rooms was available (for early checkin) whilst the other wasn't - great service to offer this. However, it might have only been in room 708 but...

LOCATION: Located in a quiet side street, just a few minutes away by foot from Sukhumvit Road. Terminal 21 (best food court in Bangkok!) and many other restaurants, bars and massage salons are just around the corner. The MRT Sukhumvit Station and the BTS Asok Station are very close. Makkasan (airport link) is just one MRT stop away (Phetchaburi Station),...

Had heard about this hotel from colleague's who had stayed there numerous times. So decided to stay here with family for five nights. Booked two rooms for four of us (we and our daughters). We arrived by an early flight and requested for early check in but rooms were full. Freshened up in the wash room and booked the breakfast...

It's a decent place with the decent price. Don't expect much. One of the major drawbacks is the view, if you open curtain, you are looking inside someone's living room. :) Maintenance of rooms is not that great. Service is average, our room was not cleaned til 4pm. The breakfast buffet is very average, almost nil items for vegetarians. The...

Stayed in Park Plaza for 4 nights. Enjoyed everyday of their hospitality. Loved the room and loved the morning Breakfast. However, would prefer English the counter staff to be fluent in English. Don't expect them to call their colleagues for translation!!

Fourth time for us at this hotel in Soi 18, it feels a bit like home. If you're thinking of visiting this area, you really can't go past the Park Plaza Sukhumvit Soi 18. We had an executive room on the 3rd floor this time round, and it was terrific, with plenty of room. The breakfast was wonderful, and they...

This is about my fifth stay at Park Plaza - the only reason one returns to a hotel is because it is value for money, comfortable and meets the basic requirements for all walks of people. Will definitely return!

Nice, smaller hotel in a quiet sidestreet with lots of things to do within walking distance. Food, nightlife, shopping and lots of things to do for kids, as well as walking distance to both Skytrain and Subway makes a perfect location

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
