I booked a room for 2 nights at the Bangkok City Hotel after being very disappointed with an initial hotel. We found it on Google, and walked in to make a booking. We checked in the next morning. The hotel is bustling at all hours of the day and it is located close to the Ratchatewi train station which was...

Stayed here with my family. Room is not very big, free top up of bottled water everyday. Late check out is possible with small additional fee. Close to BTS station. Walking distance to Platinum Mall. Decent breakfast. Only downside is the lift can be quite slow.

We had a pleasant stay with a friend of mine here. The hotel is in the midst of things and within walking distance (if you are fit) to MBK, Platinum, etc. It took us 15 - 20min to walk to most areas. There's not much life happening around here though. Rooms clean but no shower curtain in the tub (we...

Hotel perfect remembering what you pay. Spotless room and bed linens etc. Food acceptable and plentiful. They can't please all the people all of the time. Bangkok too busy, and too noisy so the hotel is little in different to any, albeit to say it's near an mtr but not the main attractions. I would recommend the hotel, however not...

Majority of the guests here are chinese. That may explain the strict rules and regulations of this place (deposit for the key card, signature upon return of the deposit, no smiles, staff speaking Chinese well). The rooms itself are modern, the hotel is new, but gives the impression it has not been properly cleaned after building works finished. The windows...

This is my second time staying at Bangkok City Hotel. We arrived on an evening of early December 2015. When our taxi arrived at the hotel, it was raining. Our driver refused to drive into the narrow driveway and dropped us at the roadside. We were opening our own umbrellas but nevertheless a hotel staff quickly came to us with...

This is a good value hotel but it is nothing special. We got a taxi from the airport which took around 30 minutes and cost the equivalent of approximately £8. We had requested an additional child's bed but were told that was not possible in the room we had been allocated. The room (on the 15th floor) was clean and...

We stayed 7 days 6 nights in this hotel and we booked 2 rooms. We chose this hotel because generally it was close to the BTS although its a 10 mins walk from the hotel. It is also not very far from shopping malls. The hotel has a tuk tuk that charges 100 baht for 5 persons going to the...

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The service was reasonable and I don't really have many complaints to share. There's food nearby if you need something to eat as well. I had a good time overall at the hotel.
