Having learned that some hotels in Bangkok offer Halal food, for my first ever trip to Bangkok I was looking for a hotel that offers 100% Halal catering, not just offering Halal catering which is handled along with non Halal meats etc.

Stayed here one night only since I had to catch a flight early next day. I wish this was the hotel I had stayed prior in my visit to Bangkok. It was very reasonably priced, very clean, modern, great customer service, Breakfast was delicious with...More

Thank you for the great and detailed review of your stay at the Nouvo City Hotel! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and great appreciate the recommendation. Our team hopes to welcome you back again very soon!
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

We just asked the hotel reception to order us a taxi to take us there and then pick us up later! I can't remember exactly how much it cost but it wasn't too bad! There are cheaper ways by getting a mini bus but we just saved the hassle and used the reception :) Make sure you agree on a price with the taxi driver before you go :)
