The hostel is colourfully done up and looks peppy. The rooms are small and there are no bathrooms attached to the dormitory. They charge extra for the towel and the common toilets are not very clean also had some trouble with hot water. The 12 bed room is for 250 bhat and they say it's always booked so they offer...

We stayed in a double room with a bathroom this was good and the bed was comfortable - no wardrobe space but a side table. The room wasn't cleaned in the 3 days we were there (bathroom bin for toilet tissue became full!) also the drains smell so so bad which isn't the hostels fault but please be aware it...

I have been at etz hostel for 1 month ;) Everything is good. It's easy to find Thai street food around. The rooms are cozy and clean. I met lots of friends around the world during the time I been there. And the price is reasonable for backpack tourists.

This place is great, welcome, and cheap. The minimum prize is 250 per night per person. The rooms are cozy & clean. The wifi is really fast. There is a lounge for relaxing and making new friends. Both international & domestic visiters are welcome.

Just off the main road but still couldn't hear any traffic. Rooms are clean and recleaned every day. Toilets are clean. Perfect detox after travelling the islands and they're nasty ratchet utilities. Cheap with air con in all the right places. Common room was ideal for meeting other travellers. Maybe they could replace the dying batteries in their fire alarm,...

The overall feel and cleanliness is top notch but I really found it to be lacking in atmosphere. People seemed to almost avoid each other here and we were all about the same age. They have a bar area that is not utilized at all and the general common area and outside section lack things to do. I would stay...

Our group stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are very accommodating and are always available. The reception is open 24 hrs. At the 2nd floor, every one must remove their shoes which is okay since the floor is very clean. The location is great too: walking distance to Lumpini station, restaurants adjacent to it, near 7-11 and street foods....

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
