Clean, basic but nice rooms for a good price, in a great, quiet side street. Hotel is a long way down Soi 8, but has complementary golf cart service. I've stayed here a few times. Will be back. Some noise from other rooms or if people are in the corridor. Wifi, safe, cable tv etc. Good shower. Soi 8 has...

Stayed there 4 nights. The hotel is located at the end of the soi in a quiet place but there are several bars and restaurants when go towards sukhumvit road. The BTS station is just 5 mins to walk. They have a free tuktuk service to Sukhumvit road. I took a room with balcony it was small but very clean...

A nice small hotel with friendly staff. My room was small but comfortable, clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent, well prepared and plenty of choices. Good locality in walking distance to shopping strip and major shopping centre and restaurants.

Have been here several times, it is one of my favorite choice in Bkk. Conveniently located near the skytrain station of Nana but up in the soi, far enough from the noise of the nightlife. Rooms are very clean, the bed is big. The bathroom is quite big too. The style is colorful and a bit retrò, but not old....

Excellent staff. Excellent price. Central location Situated always from the noise and Pollution of Sukhumvit Road this is an excellent addition to the Sawasdee Hotel chain. Located next to an escalator access to the Skytrain is a real advantage. The helpful friendly staff is very knowledgeable about local facilities like the Post Office. They were surprised that the Royal Thai...

We stayed one night at the hotel and wouldnt have stayed one night longer. The room was dirty and in really bad condition. There ware a huge ball of hairs with shaving cream on the wall. Also the bead sheets were partly torn. Moreover the water was standing in the shower. When we confronted the staff with the fact that...

We stayed at this hotel when it first opened, it is now very run down and it's in urgent need of upgrading (nothing has been done since it was opened and it shows). The staff were very rude - we never once got a smile or a thank you, we had to ask about the included breakfast and the receptionists...

The hotel refused to accept our online booking despite me having email proof and a booking number. We were made to wait, guilty until proven innocent, with our bags in the lobby for a supervisor to arrive. Eventually, she turned up after 30 minutes and treated us with absolute contempt. We went somewhere else and suggest you do too.

Positive: - Quiet location - Late checkout was possible - Comfortable bed - Balcony - Large safe Negative: - Late checkout is 100 baht per hour and after 4 pm they'll charge a full day - Room's a bit small - Main road is a bit of a walk but there's a hotel cab that brings you there if available

POSITIVES – Was very good value, clean, attractive and modern plus includes breakfast for £22 p.n. NEGATIVES – Some of staff less than impressive, hot food at breakfast not good, 10 minute walk from BTS. SUMMARY – Overall I was pleased enough with my 1 night stay for £22 including breakfast. It was much better that Maxims Inn for the...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
