Beautiful building and unique location. The rooms however need modernization and also the pool area should be renovated. While the staff is kind and helpful, their level of English is insufficient in a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was very limited and not particularly great. The ferry boat is beautiful but be aware that this is the only way to reach...

We booked because the latest reviews were good and the photos looked nice. Beware hotels only shown lit up at night. As another reviewer said this could be a great hotel but it is in serious need of attention. It's furnishings, fittings and decor, in rooms and around the pool, need serious upgrading if it is to be seen as...

We think the good outweighs the bad in this case. Here are the pros and cons from our experience. The net is that if you love quaint places with great service, this is a great place for you. If you are looking for a modern place with lots of creature comforts, this probably isn't the right place for you. When...

We had a lovely stay at the Praya Palazzo! The property is smaller than what I imagined from the photos, but still every bit as charming. Our room was lovely with period details. The staff members were kind and helpful. Although the Palazzo is only accessible by a ferry, we didn't find this to be an inconvenience. In fact, it...

We stayed for one night for a birthday treat at the end of holidays and we were upgraded to the large room over looking the pool area. It was very beautiful of a night to lay in the large bath over looking the water with all the windows open. The pool was a relief from the hot humid day as...

We stayed here three nights. I chose the hotel based on the reviews on Hotels.com and TripAdvisor. The hotel is not really accessible by road so be prepared to travel back and forth by boat - which is really great and easy. They gave us a cell phone when we arrived and we could use it to call them when...

Loved going back and forth on the launch. They gave us a cell phone to call, never had to wait long. Didn't find the location inconvenient. Friendly staff,Pointed us to some destinations we might have missed. Lovely building and grounds. Rooms were nice, but it's an OLD house, we were on the ground floor and the upstairs guests got so...

A beautiful old mansion across the river accessed by the hotel's private boat. The hotel gave us a mobile phone to call them when we wanted the boat to return to the hotel. 24 hour boat service. Staff were very attentive, responding quickly to any requests and preempting many things such as offering a takeaway breakfast when we had an...

Praya Palazzo is a beautiful homely hotel with friendly staff. The food is exquisite and service is fast. The access to the hotel is thrilling as one has to take a boat ride to cross the wide Praya river to the hotel. It's good for those who value their peace and quiet. This shouldn't discourage those who want to experience...

This hotel is providing an outstanding level of service, you can not believe your in the heart of the "never sleeping Bangkok". The access is already part of the "experience" : you call the hotel from the river side, and an old style wood made boat is coming to grab you, at this minute you are leaving the crowded street...
