Stayed here for one night on the way to the islands. Had a very early AM flight arrival from London and they werent able to give me a room immediately understandably. Surprisingly around 11 am they gave me an upgrade to a deluxe suite - very large and spacious. Huge bathroom with walk in shower which was welcome. Minibar not... More

Having never been to Bangkok before, I took a punt on staying somewhere reasonable priced in the Sukhumvit Rd area. I was very pleasantly surprised. Set back a couple of hundred metres from the main road, it was quiet but not isolated. The bed was VERY firm which affected my ability to sleep. The breakfast was really good. A selection... More

This place is clean, modern and has large well appointed rooms and a bigger than average bathroom for the money. We paid about 10,000 baht for 4 nights in a deluxe room (the middle of the 3 size options) which included late checkout on the last day. Its not as far from the main road as they make out -... More

I'm pleased to say that all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room facilities and particularly the quality of the staff truly made it a memorable stay (the staff were the friendliest we've met in our 3 month journey through south east Asia) In particular, the female receptionist (can't remember her name!) was exceptional friendly... The Kingston is a great little boutique style hotel. We stayed for 7 nights in a deluxe room, plenty of space for the 2 of us. Not a suite but large enough. Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
