Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I know some of the reviews said that Udee was too far away from stuff but my wife and I found its location to be great. We walked to the Weekend market in the morning and then in the evening we took the SkyTrain around town. There were good restaurants around the hostel and everyone was super helpful. The bed was a little stiff for my wife but I enjoyed it. Overall we had a great stay. The taxi ride from the airport in the middle of the night went quickly and the place was easy to find for the driver.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, free WiFi and clean. Add to that a comfortable bed with an attached bathroom, what more do you need! This will definitely be the place we stay at when in Bangkok. Site would let me rate the service, sleep quality, or cleanliness, I give them 5 stars.

There are a lot of things to do and see in the local area.

Room Tip: There is no elevator, so if you have bad knees like I do, request a room on lower floors.

Booked double room here for one night to be near the airport and the reviews seemed good. Room was clean and decent size but it was not cheap for Bangkok at £28 and yet no fridge in room or tv and everything extra seemed to be charged for. Staff were nice enough and breakfast ok and its not a bad location. Noise was an issue as there is no sound insulation but the hotel was pretty empty and silent after 10pm.

I picked this hostel as I wanted to be close to the bus terminal. The hostel was clean, and the staff friendly, however the main drawback for me was that it is quite far from the bts. All the other reviewers say it's close, but it's actually a 15 min walk away, which would normally be ok, but in the heat of Bangkok this is too far, especially if you are carrying a rucksack. The hostel is also located down an alley which the owner assured me was safe, but at 11pm at night it felt a little too empty for me.

The beds are very comfortable, but I have been spoilt by BKK hostels generally being of a very high standard. The beds here did not have duvets, which most BKK hostels in the same price bracket now do, the blanket was very scratchy. There was also no shelve to put a few belongings like my glasses. But the worst part was that there aren't lockers for rucksacks. There are some lockers on the fourth floor, but these would only fit in a day sack. They should install lockers in the rooms and save ppl the hassle of sorting through what they should put in their lockers.

It's also a noisy hostel, as other reviewers have noted, the doors slam open and shut, there are signs requesting that you don't slam the doors, but they are so light it's completely accidental. They should install those things that slow a door down. It's small things like this that would help there reviews.

The hostel is located very far from all the tourist attractions, apart from JJ weekend market. But this is a 25 min walk away (I walked there and back), and you would be quicker getting there on the sky train if you stayed in a hostel more centrally located closer to a BTS station.

The hostel did have loads of helpful information. But the main reason I wouldn't stay here would have to be the location, it's just too far from everything.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hostel is decent and clean rooms. The area is very quiet and the staff are friendly. The bathroom was fairly clean and the breakfast is good quality. The only dislike was the location is bit far from everything. Reasonable stay.

This was a great little hostel away from the noisy and touristy Khao San Road. The hostel had an elegant open design and the rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and happy to help you with any query or give you advice on how to get around the city. They have an extremely handy map with tabs for directions for your taxi or bus directions. The hostel is in a little back street which makes it lovely an quite but still easy to find. It is close to the BTS skytrain and you can get into Siam for shopping in less than 15 minutes. It is also close the famous Chatuchak Weekend Markets. Oh they were also very forgiving when I accidentally broke a glass -sorry about that.

If you book a taxi to the airort by Udee, you need to pay double the price. If you want to take a shower before check in time, no way, or you need to pay another 200 bucks per person. If you want to leave the package to Udee for several days, you need to pay 50 bucks per day. Everything means money for Udee. Disappointed!

UDEE Bangkok is very well located & before you arrive the Udee Staff tells you how to reach them by various modes of transportation with all the details which is very good thing. Its location is such that moving around Bangkok seems very easy by using BTS / Bus / Taxi by a newcomer. The UDEE Staff is very courteous & helpful too. Its highly recommended to stay there & enjoy your trip without any hassles at all. Its very clean & well-maintained too. The best part of it is the daily breakfast which I liked it & at last but not least it feels like home. They also have Lockers on the 4th floor (just take your Padlock) to use it.

The owners of the hostel have the best information on getting around so my suggestion is to tell them where you want to go and they will show you the best way. The hostel is a little far from the city center but you can take a cab, tuk tuk, or bus (there's a free bus, I think it was number 3). The free bus is crowded, old, and doesn't have AC but there's also another bus that is much nicer for a nominal fee. Taxi is fairly cheap specially if you are in a group; tuk tuks cannot always be trusted. With either taxi's or tuk tuks, make sure you negotiate the price before getting on. The Skytrain isn't bad either but it reaches limited areas.
