The Maxim inn is in a great location though not for ones who don't like girlie bars. The hotel itself is dated and in need of some redecorating especially in the foyer and downstairs areas. The lift stunk and stale cigarette smoke pervaded the corridors. The rooms were clean enough and bathroom ok. You get what you pay for and... More

The hotel in itself is very decent with clean sheets, a/c, TV etc and looks pretty much like how its shown in the pictures.. The staff are pretty helpful for any info you may ask, especially the guy in the reception who was very courteous and was willing to help with most of our queries. The location was quite disappointing,... More

Stayed here for 5 days. We booked 2 superior triple room and all of us satisfied with the stay. The location is very near to the BTS skytrain and there is 7-11 with walking distance nearby. In addition, hotel receptionists and house keeping staffs were very friendly. I am sure will pay a visit again if I am going to... More

Once again photos provided by management don't thell the whole truth. Hotel is worn out even though there are some nice touches. Rooms could be so much nicer and smell of cigarrettes doens't help. Rooms are outdated and not well maintained. Staff at reception is fed up with customers, not friendly ( apart form onelady there), they dont give a... More

Had an ok 8 days stay in Maxims. It's probably the cheapest hotel you'll find in the area. 1k baht per day, and about 2 minutes walk from Nana bts. The bad thing about this place are the pushy masseuse girls on the street. The whole street is lined up with massage place and girly bars. But if these things... More

Location - excellent, close to Nana BTS, which is a big plus in this traffic jammed city. I rarely had to use a taxi(and I stayed over a week). It's also a few minutes walk to Soi 11 clubs. It might not be the best location for conservatives and families due to the bar and massage girls in the street.... More

We were looking at this hotel and again we found it in Agoda.com for 815 THB so we walked in and the staff offered us a room at 1700 and we we asked for lower price again they said they only gave superior room that will be 2000 per night . To be honest we didn't want to stay but... More

Everything was good except the pushy masseuses who can traumatize your walk back to the hotel. If you can tolerate that, then it's a good stay. Good food at a reasonable price, but their location is AWESOME. Due to BTS, I saved alot of cash for Transport.

Maxim's provides basic accommodation that is clean but the location just near Nana station on the BTS is fantastic. Also plenty of shopping and food close by. Excellent wifi available at no extra charge. The staff were pleasant. You do have to walk past the girls and lady boys in the Soi but they did not bother us at all.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
