The hotel was hard to find, since it's located on a dark side street. The first few living things we encountered were a rat and some cockroaches in the yard. (The rat was lying dead on the street the next morning...) The receptionist was not very interested or didn't try very hard to understand our questions. We weren't located in...

The staff is poor in English, cannot help if you need anything. Perfect location, near train, shopping, restaurants and good massage (Wat Po School). In a quiet road, very little noise. Comfortable bed, nicely designed rooms, but they tried to save on interiors, so even if it look new, there are many things already falling apart. Breakfast has a very...

I as there las January. It`s easy to get there from the airport by public transport and it`s only a few stops of skytrain from the shopping area of commercial siam square. Coffee and teas are complimentary. Good relationship quality-price

This hotel is nice, but for $20 a night you get what you pay for. Air con works fine. Wifi was included but intermittent. It is a little difficult to find being tucked down a small alley with only a small sign. The BTS is at the end of the street which is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on...

The hotel is located in the little soi before thonglor 7. I personally have a house in Bangkok but a bit far from town that's why i choose this hotel for its location. The room is nice and clean but do not expect much as you got what you paid. Breakfast is limited; cheap coffee, two choices of cereal, bread...

Most importantly, the location. Its actually a pretty long walk from Thong Lo station, and walking at night back to the hotel isn't a pleasurable experience. Will suggest to cab instead, it is cheaper to cab if you have 3 or more people, its surprisingly cheaper than taking a train. But the traffic jams are sometimes a good enough reason...

Well, I booked an online room . It´s a little alley between soi 5 and 7 on Thong Lo. Around 15 minutes walking from the BTS. Easy to find. The thai tall recepcionist is the worst ever. I don´t know how can she work with services. Bad mood all the week I was staying . Never answered my questions, she just...

Having stayed in another Nantra hotel before, I expected a similar experience. Was I wrong ! The rooms are misrepresented online. You don't get what you expect. Beware. But what bothered me most was the rudeness of the staff. Especially the people working the night shift were amazing. They were always busy looking tv, never ever smiled or greeted us...

I booked and paid for a room through a travel site and the room we paid for was advertised as standard room with queen sized bed. Even after I paid I called the hotel to confirm and again they said my room had a queen sized bed. What we found when we arrived is that their definition of a queen...

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
