The 2 bedroom room was massive in size - has a huge seating room attached to well quipped kitchen with microwave- cooking range - fridge, washing area. One of the large bedroom has an large attached bath with a massive closet , other bedroom is...

I was in Bangkok with a group of colleagues for a conference at Queen Sirikit Convention Centre, and 6 of us stayed here. The hotel was a very pleasant (but warm) walk from the Convention Centre through Benjakitti Park, which is lovely (good for early morning jogs when it's less hot and humid). The hotel rooms were enormous, and well...

The location is pretty good and is about 10 min walk to the nearest metro which is Asoke. There are good restaurants around. I stayed at 40 something floor and the view is good. The rooms are really big. Food is really bad. Long Table is a pretty bar but not that happening. Staff are a little unfriendly

This hotel is great value. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment that was so huge. It had a large living room, full kitchen, washing machine and dryer and 2 bathrooms with full bath. This hotel is very close to the Asok BTS station which makes it super handy. Lots of restaurants and massages are close by also. The...

We stayed here for six nights on a trip that combined business and a couple of days of vacation. The location was great with the Siam Centre, Paragon and Central World shopping as well as the sky train (BTS) in one direction and a beautiful park with a lake in the other. The views of the skyline were stunning from...

Column is an awesome hotel with a brilliant view. Ask for road side rooms and beyond 25th floor. The service is great and prompt. The hotel is at the one of the best areas of Bangkok. The hotel is a little away from the night markets and other shopping destinations but local cab service is quickly available from the reception.

A great apartment sized hotel room, with all the comforts of home, awaited us at the Column after a long haul flight. It made arriving in a new country - and Bangkok can be overwhelming - very easy for us. We had arranged with the hotel to be picked up at the airport, with no hitches, and were in our...

We were very luck that when we arrived the hotel staff upgraded us to a large apartment style room. The space was massive for downtown Bangkok. The location was very easy to access and allowed for a quick walk to Terminal 21 for food and shopping. There is also a 24 grocery store right beside the hotel. The gym facilities...

One of the best hotel for business traveler. A home away from home. Hotel staff is professional and very helpfull(staff helped unlocking room safe quickly and with less fuzz). Relatively close to malls, rails, convenience stores, restos, and a park(great for running).

I stayed 4 weeks at this place (room 4003) and as it was pre-paid and non-refundable package deal I was unfortunately stuck there. Although location is very good and the view from the room is nice on high floor, I’m afraid that’s where it all ended. The place is aging rapidly and unfortunately not well managed, it’s falling apart and...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
