We stayed here on a friends recommendation. The hotel is fairly new and hence all the fittings/furnishings are fairly new. The room was very small as expected from big city hotels. The hotel is a few metres away from the busy sukhumvit road. Two metro stations are also 5-10 mins walking distance. What we didnt like is the breakfast. It...

Stayed for a few nights recently and found the place fine and good value considering the excellent location just 3 or 4 minutes walk from the BTS, maybe 8 or 9 minutes from the MRT, yet up a quiet soi overlooking Chuwit park. The 'normal' rooms are on the small size but for a slightly higher price there are a...

Very clean and nicely decorated rooms. We had one of the suites on the very top floor. A little inconvenient to get to if you have a lot of luggage because the elevator only goes till the floor right below, but a minor setback! Complimentary breakfast was simple yet satisfying. Staff were overall helpful and kind. Their English was good...

To start with the good points: it's only 10 meters from Sukhumvit Road, and easy walking to Skytrain and subway. The hotel is rather new, and the rooms have LCD TVs (probably because an old-style TV simply wouldn't fit into those tiny rooms). But the ceiling height on first and second floor is so low that in some areas I...

I loved Paradiso! Although the rooms were on the small side (I stayed in a Deluxe), it was cozy and spotless. Service was excellent. When the air conditioning wasn't working well, I mentioned this to the front desk and it was fixed promptly within the same day. Breakfast was basic but was good enough for me. Perhaps the biggest draw...

Stayed five nights in this hotel. It is simple, but very, very clean. Seems like it is pretty new. There is no pool or gym, but just very nice, clean rooms. Paid about $60 per night, and had full amenities in the room. They serve a simple breakfast in the lobby. There is also a nice park accross the street....

Paradiso is a great boutique hotel, it's like a 5 star hotel at 3 star price! The rooms a little small but super modern, well kitted and spotlessly clean! Excellent bed with luxurious sheets, beautiful bathroom with spanish head shower and great TV and selection of channels. The hotel is in great location within 5min walk to 2 skytrain stops...

The Paradiso is located on Sukhumvit soi10. About 15m from the main road. Close enough to walk and far enough to be away from the road noise. Across from the hotel is a park so a quiet nights sleep was experienced. The location is just two blocks from Nana BTS so very convenient. It is a new, modern and clean...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
