Sawasdee house located at a strategic street, not far from the crowded khaosan road. My luck did not do me any favour this time, I get the 4th floor room with two windows. The AC is great, wifi can reach into my room, the room...More

Super fun place near Khosan road. Great atmosphere and not as manic as Khosan itself so you can enjoy a relaxing drink in a fun buzzy environment. Plenty of tables in and out. Highly recommend the strawberry daiquiri and Mai Tai. There are pool tables...More
I liked the restaurant. I have asked for non spicy food and one of the dishes ordered was spicy but it was good anyway. Good shrimp pad-thai, watermelon shake and apple strudel! I recommend this place.

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
I agree have the hotel written in thai down for them if you want to be super safe. Tourism is so big now there that they will most likely know. Even if you just get a taxi to khao san road you till find it in a few minutes :)
