I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Baan Pra Nond B&B. After an early flight in Kuching followed by a long layover in Kuala Lumpur, it was a relief to be picked up by Mr. Vee, a driver that BPN owner, Tasmin, graciously arranged for...More
A very cute boutique place, tugged away between greenery, wonderful architecture and interior design. Cozy commons area. My room was very clean and comfortable. Centrally located close to BTS and river shuttle. Stayed here for three days with the low season last minute special 40%...More
In a not-particularly-atmospheric business district of Bangkok, this B&B is peaceful, shady and homely. From the warm welcome on arrival to the thoughtful touches that make simple rooms feel a little more comfortable, Baan Pra Nond works hard to put you at ease. I paid...More
This B&B has genuine charm. It is centrally located near the river and a BTS station, and despite being sandwiched between a main road and a flyover it is actually very peaceful once inside the small complex. Rooms are simple but very pleasant. Breakfast was...More

Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the
area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.

The place is only a 5 minute walk to the BTS station and a 10 minute walk to the river bus. Use the river bus to access the palace District. Use the BTS stop to access all other areas. The area is very safe at night while the gate well be locked after 10pm, someone will be on hand to open the gate if you're returning late. To get to the airports, you can use a taxi or any ride hailing services.
