This was my third stay at this hotel. It has many things going for it.... The roof top swimming pool, excellent evening meals in the restaurant, has the Sky Train on the doorstop and most of the staff are welcoming. Unfortunately I experienced some minuses this time. The hotel is undergoing a refurb so some disruption is likely. There is...

For visitors on a budget, this is an all right hotel to stay in. Don't expect much though, you get what you pay for which are the basic bed with one pillow and blankets, one towel each, NO slippers though, a few toiletries, small bottles of drinking water every day, a small refrigerator, NO attendants to help with the luggage...

The hotel was clean, the room also. Even if that hotel did not fit the description on most booking website, for the price of the room, you got an hotel in a good location if you need to be close to the nearest embassy. Located near the BTS we didn't feel that it was a dangerous place ( close to...

Booking through hotel website will get better price offered. Room: big and clean. I love the most is the hand painting Thai picture on the wall. Breakfast is better compared from last visit. Now they offer in buffet styles. Not a very big buffet but enough. Located near BTS surasak station also have parking space in front.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 week in March 2015, Overall it was good, but just check that everything is working fine in your room (especially WIFI and lights) once you have it, if you don't feel comfortable with your room, DO ASK the staff to assign another room for you. Here are some tips in reaching the hotel...

We stayed 5 nights at the Hotel. One Thailand lady helped us to find the Hotel. It is situated about 15 min. walk from BTS Surasak. Get off from the BTS Surasak station and walk about 200 meters along main road. You can see St. Louis Hospital. Go past it and turn right to a road at 7 eleven super...

To begin with the former CK House Hotel ( heritage) is not a place we would ever stay again. For the price we paid, there are MANY other better hotels in Bangkok ( last minute booking meant our favorite hotels were booked.) Bad location esp if you are driving. Narrow one way street closed in the afternoon and filled with...

We were a bit hesitant about staying here for a week, because of all the bad reviews we had read. Luckily we had to come to the conclusion that all those were exaggerated. True, there is no swimming pool, no fitness and the sauna is a little bit messy, but the rooms are big, the staff is very friendly and...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
