Hotel's Favourite
Where do I even start?!
I’ve been browsing/touring hotels within Bangkok since the Summer of 2021 for my wedding guests for our wedding in February 2024. I stumbled upon the VIE Hotel back in February 2023. I did a trial stay and toured with my mom and immediately said YES!
Vie Hotel is 5 stars all around from their staff, and services, to their rooms, gyms, location, and more. Keep in mind I toured well-known hotels such as Anantara, Siam Kempinski, Mandarin Oriental, etc, and I am overjoyed I went with the VIE and not the others. I’ve learned that the hospitality given to guests in a boutique hotel is better and feels more genuine compared to bigger hotels/resorts.
VIE is located in the Pathumwan neighborhood of Bangkok AKA in the heart of the shopping district near Siam Paragon, MBK, etc. I specifically chose this area due to its enormous population of English speakers because it's a tourist area, within walking distance to the famous malls, easy access to public transportation such as the MRT & BTS, and most importantly is in central Bangkok making travel to any other neighborhoods fast and efficient (as much as Bangkok traffic would allow).
The staff at this hotel had amazing service, attentive to every single guests staying here, going above and beyond. An example would be me and my husband coming back late after a night out and the front desk staff already running to press the elevator to our floor so we didn’t have to wait (they knew our floor without asking). The daily international breakfast buffet was not only a beautiful setup/display but it tasted 10/10. That’s something you don’t find nowadays, usually one gets sacrifice.
The rooms and other amenities were so nice and so clean, great square footage. We were surprised with a free upgrade to a deluxe suite as a wedding present which was so lovely making our start to our wedding week even better.
My family lives in Bangkok 20 minutes south of the VIE and I always stay there when I come back to visit Thailand, however my husband and I promised each other to make it a point to stay a the VIE for a few days in the future, so we can continuously experience this amazing hotel.
Honorable mentions to Khun Su & Khun Khem for being so patient and accommodating to our guests and ourselves through the whole planning process that was over the course of the year. They helped with reservations, cancellations, adjustments, and suggestions on things related to our wedding such as wedding dress shops, bus transportation, day trips, rentals of their ballroom, dome yard beer garden, etc.
Big shoutout to Bellman Khun Benz, we wanted to give him a bigger tip as a gesture of our appreciation, but on our last day, he was not working. We promise to come back to give our thanks appropriately. To the management team at VIE, Khun Benz deserves a promotion and/or raise, he goes above and beyond for all the guests staying at the VIE, and even witnessed him helping guests who weren’t staying there if they had questions, or needed help with anything.
We do want to mention two negative incidents with the Vie. We continuously asked if the Dome yard would be open during our stay for our guests to enjoy, some of our guests planned to go for drinks before one of our events, but quickly learned it was closed due to “glass being broken a week prior.” It was upsetting as we asked a couple of days prior if the dome yard would be open for guests to check, and were told yes, some guests arrived early to check out the dome yard, or guests who weren’t staying at the hotel traveled through traffic just to be hit with “closed.” Another incident was during checkout, our final bill was told our card on file was not working and saying our deposit was never given. After going back and forth with the front desk, we came to find out that another guest’s payment for staying at the hotel (not part of the wedding group) was attached to our reservation, and whoever checked us in never asked for our deposit. These two incidents were not big enough to dock off our 5-star review, but we believe it is worth it to mention so this can be taken to management to be improved in the future.
In conclusion, Thank you thank you for everything to every single staff member at the VIE. 10000/10 hotel. We cannot wait to be back!!

Foreign visitors spent almost a week at VIE Hotel for the fam trip and their feedback is 100% positive in terms of location, services, cleanliness, food, atmosphere, facilities and, of course, a great potential in all staffs, esp. Khun New Supanuch's hospitality that contributed a great deal in decision-making for the guests' future stay both for work and family time. Wonderful time and wonderful people to work with.

Heard this hotel's reputation for a long time and got a chance to experience once but it was below my expectation on their service. Bad attitude reservation manager on how to handle customer's call. From my first contact till I checked out, I 've still never received any reservation confirmation letter from them only got a call from Khun Fern to let me know that they booked me a room.
I got a nice and spacious room with a big comfy bed but room cleanliness need to be considered again as a dirty iron had been placed in my room. Luckily I found it before I pressed into my shirt. No any hand sanitizer provided in guest room.
Breakfast was served at meeting room instead of their main restaurant. Not enough seats at 9.15 hrs. so people are packed in front of elevator on 12th floor to queue up. Lack of FB staff. Tea and coffee were not offered once reach the table. No any partrition to protect food and customers to avoid covid's spreading. They just let you wear glove and pick up your food

We’ve really enjoyed our 7-day stays here. From the moment we walked in the main lobby, we were greeted with friendly staff and their big smiles. Particularly the nice girl Jenny on the front desk duty totally swept me off with her excellent services. We were literally feeling chilled out and warmly welcomed during the whole check-in process. I also felt safe and comfortable, and the service and cleanliness met my expectations. Additionally, we want to stay in a central location near major attractions, restaurants, and transportation. VIE hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from Siam shopping center. From here you can easily walk to the BTS station in 1 minute. Last but not least, the hotel spa service was superb! It was my 1st time at this wonderful SPA and I would recommend you must visit, not only because it has excellent environment and atmosphere but its cleanness and nice Masseuse who know their job well and are professional. It’s worth every penny!!! My husband and I will definitely come back again!

I will be brief but succinct. Maybe not brief. This won't be pretty though.
Booked an Executive Suite, and arrived one evening to find the "suite" in the following condition: stained curtains (blood or lipstick; can't tell, don't care), stained couches and sofas, missing furniture, chipped wooden floor, chipped wooden furniture and chipped wooden doors, hairs (not mine) on the toilet, yellowed toilet seat, black stains in the corners of the shower, and stains on the shower door. Generally, the "suite" itself feels old, used, abused and run-down.
Complained about this 15 minutes after checking in. Extra cleaning was performed, but after a less than stellar first impression of the "suite", I decided to bail the next morning and move to another hotel (yes, I was offered the Penthouse Suite, but no, I wouldn't touch it with a stick). In several discussions with management, they basically admitted the "suite" has seen better days, and will be refurbished... at some point... after I have left.
Wasted my morning to find another hotel in Bangkok, and after a walk in the neighbourhood, decided to end my stay by having lunch in La Bistronomie (the hotel's restaurant). The food was really good, and I will bet any amount of money, in the odd chance the hotel's general manager replies to this review, that this positive note will be quoted. Unbeknownst to me, this lunch was offered by the hotel (which was not even necessary; I'd have gladly paid for it).
Upon check-out I was asked to pay the full rate for the night I spent in the "suite", and only after my aghast reaction, I was offered a 30% discount... which was upped to 40% a short while later.
Amazingly (must have been the heat) I chose another Accor hotel as my backup plan, and although led to believe that "they would make things right", I found out later that VIE Hotel Bangkok considered 1) the free lunch, and 2) the discount, as their "get out of jail free" card. Which is weird, because I wonder how that would have gone if I hadn't decided to have a quick lunch in the hotel's restaurant, or if I had just stupidly accepted the full rate they tried to charge me initially.
Can't really fault the hotel staff, because they are friendly and forthcoming as per usual. But, if the general manager, whom I asked to see a couple of times but who failed to appear every single time, decides to reply to this review, as he/she seems wont to do, I would suggest to give me a call or write me an email instead.
Anyway, in short, don't book the Executive Suite.

This is my 2nd time to stay with a MGallery hotel and staff never disappoint.
Boom, who always met and greeted guests with lovely smile, was very attentive and professional helping to plan out the trip with lots of useful information of the city, transportation, timing, etc.. there’s a short walking distance from main road to entrance, and she would even come all the way out to get you, ask how your day was, make you feel you are home.
The night shift Staff who handled my check-in and the girl took care of check-out were very welcoming and helpful too. (I apologize for not remembering his name).
Breakfast was great, in either terms of food or service.
Location is perfect with walking distance to skyway Train station which can get you to many cool spots of the city easily such as Chatuchak Weekend Market.
Thank you to everyone for the wonderful experience.

From the moment our taxi pulled up to Vie Hotel Bangkok we were greeted by hotel staff that took our bags out of the taxi and brought them inside for us. While checking in we were given the most delicious welcome drink and were shown to their beautiful Executive Suite for our stay. Our bags were brought directly to our room so we didn’t have to worry about lugging them in and our of the elevator. The room was huge and completely spotless. It has an pod espresso maker, desk for working, living room area with tv, bedroom with tv, shower and a very large bathtub…big enough for two people on a romantic getaway.
Any request we had for the staff was met within minutes: we needed some more waters and they were brought up right away. We ordered room service and it arrived very quickly, fresh, hot and delicious.
The gym is fully equipped with anything you could need including various types of machines for cardio and weightlifting. More impressively they have and entire free weight section with barbells, plates, and dumbbells. The pool is beautifully kept and the water was the perfect temperature, not too cold, not too warm. It was so refreshing to do a few laps then just relax on a hot Bangkok day.
Moving on to breakfast. Our stay came with complimentary breakfast. The buffet has a lot of variety, ranging from fruit and oatmeal to stir fried noodles and dim sum so any palate will surely be pleased. We tried absolutely everything and it was all delicious. Our favorite part was that you can have eggs cooked too order. It was a very nice personal touch to an already extensive breakfast buffet.
In closing we would highly recommend staying at Vie Hotel Bangkok during any amount of time in Bangkok. From service to the facilities and food, everything is absolutely 5 stars at this hotel.

VIE hotel has a good location next to the BTS and easy to get to shopping malls by foot (although the hotel has its own tuk tuk to take you to malls as well. We booked a suite with piano club 'access'..ie evening drinks and canapés..very enjoyable. Pool is great on the rooftop and breakfast has a great selection. We actually had a problem with a shower 'failing' in our suite...we were promptly upgraded to the top floor penthouse, which of course was superb. Perhaps the only marginal criticism is that the hotel is now a few years old, so there are knocks and bashes to the woodwork etc...nothing disastrous, but equally its probably not long before they will need to do a refurb

This was my first trip to Thailand and the VIE hotel could not have been any better. From the time we arrived to the time we left they made us feel like we were their only customers. The staff..... they were amazing. From Aoiy at the reception counter to Benz and Lo giving us great tips to be safe and have a good time. The room was as advertised. It was always clean and ready when we came from a full days travels. The room service was outstanding providing great food whenever we called upon them. Our room afforded us the free breakfast at the restaurant which offered an assortment of dishes along with made to order eggs and anything else we wanted. The Piano Bar was the gem of this place though. We came and went throughout our stay and was always greeted with smiles by the young bartender and the lovely waitresses that never made us want for anything. They always asked about our trips and were genuinely happy when we came in allowing themselves enough time to stop by and have a conversation. We will be visiting Thailand again on the near future and will definitely be staying here again. Management should be very proud of all the employees and the service they provide.
