We had a good stay at this hotel. There are a lot of pros for staying at this hotel. - airco In the room - refrigerator in the room - daily cleaning service, thus very clean rooms - hot shower - very good wifi - good location (quiet but 5 min from Khan San Road) - every day 2 free...

Based on the reviews we expected more of this place, but this hotel is very average at best. Our room was clean, but very modest and basic, the breakfast is also quite poor. It is true that this is a low budget accommodation, but it could offer more. The positive thing is the location, as we could walk to some...

Ideal location close to river, bridges, temples, markets, banks. Great breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Fridge in room. Excellent a/c. Quiet neighbourhood. They take you to the airport in a collective van for Baht 160. I'll stay there next time again.

The location is very good with a lot of restaurants and streetfood close. The hotel has nice rooms with a/c, fridge, own bathroom and balcony. From the upper floors you have a very nice view over Bangkok. The breakfast is good and the staff very friendly. The beds are ok to be in Thailand and so is also the cleaning...

I been in Bangkok in new years eve, got this hotel with a very good price compared to near by other hotels & considering the peak season. Pros: Location - near to Khaosan Road Staffs were friendly - This could be the main reason for 4 star rating by me Breakfast - was limited but it was tasty. Cleanliness -...

Stayed at this hotel for one night during our visit to Bangkok and it was a bit disappointing. The pictures and other reviews looked good which is why we booked but the room we were in looked like a garage. It wasn't the cleanest room and it's desperate for some re decorating, there's no comfort here at all. The beds...

I booked a twin bed room here. This place is a great bargain. It was very clean and the room was of decent size. Breakfast was excellent. Only a 10-15 minute walk to khao san road which made it very convenient.

My stay here was very very unique because of my situation and the support, empathy and consideration they gave me was what we can call a very humanly act of kindness. Something you can never forget in your life when you are treated with real goodness in a crisis! The lady in the morning extended what we call real hospitality!...

Got a room here for two nights before flying home. The location is perfect because it's 10 minute walk to khao san road with all the shopping and food you need. Wifi here was the best I've had in the month I spent in Thailand. The breakfast was really good, and the staff was really nice. Also got my laundry...

I had mixed feelings upon arrival because I read lots of previous reviews. But I was positively surprised. Checkin far before noon was not a problem for which I was very thankful after a night in a train. All receptionists were very friendly to me, even the ladyboy everybody is complaining about. The breakfast was outstanding for a budget hotel....

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
