They have a lot of service include call Taxi to airport, exchange money, how to go to tour sight. It's the best rate in Thailand, even the bank can't compare. They get up early to call the TAXI for us at 06.30. And tell us the price range. We are VERY VERY thankful.

Very helpful front-desk service, clean rooms, the suites are big - much more atmospheric when facing to the front of the hotel. The overall atmosphere could be a bit more cosy though; too many no-smoking warnings plastered around - it´s amply demonstrated that you´re in for a fee if breaking them. Are there many who do? Breakfast selection is very,...

We stayed at Urban House for three nights. Communication beforehand was excellent! We were sent directions and other tips. The location is very convenient at Saladeng Road (near Silom Road, close to MRT and sky train stations (by which you can easily reach the rest of the city). The rooms are clean, but average. We had rooms 2B en 2C....

The staff at Urban House as mentioned by other reviewers was Awesome. She went the extra mile to ask where we would like to go for the day and provided detailed diections and advise for each place of interest we're going. She even provide suggestions to where to have our meals since we're new to BKK. Super friendly and helpful...

We booked online at the last minute, and the owner asked if we would mind staying in the studio. We didn't know what that meant, but since all the reviews were favorable we said no problem. My husband and I are middle-age and weren't sure we wanted to be part of the hostel scene (no offense to the younger crowd)....

We (2 adults and 1 child) stayed in the Suite for 3 nights in May. Pros : a) The hotel is 5 min. walk to BTS Saladaeng or MRT Silom. Many convenience stores and eating places nearby. Excellent location. b) The hotel's location is quiet and safe. It is located at a "cul-de-sac". There are about 6 rooms in the...

This hotel was very understated but all that you could wish for. The bedroom was HUGE. The location, although a little off the main street, was perfect as so much less noise. The real jewel in the crown was Kwang, the lady on reception, who welcomed us warmly, gave us fantastic advice and tourist guidance throughout our stay and even got...

It's 2 years since we were last at Urban House and the high standard has been maintained. It's clean, has excellent security and Kwang is friendly and very knowledgeable about Bangkok and onward travel plans. It's in an area which is close by both the MRT and BST transit systems and there are lots of local food carts and places...

Friendly and helpful owners. Perhaps the cleanest room in Asia. A great market around the corner and a fun local neighborhood. The price can't be beat. I could only stay for one night because the place was booked. Be sure to reserve. Highly recommended.

Thank Thanh M

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
