Stayed two nights in late April. Easy to find off Rama IV and near many shops, restaurants and a (hot) 10-minute hike to the Lumpini MRT. THe hotel has a golf cart-like shuttle, but we didn't use it. The rooms are small, but well organized. Shower was hot with good pressure. The TV remote wouldn't go below 15 Volume, which...

I rank this hotel 5 for what I pay. If more expensive then i should only be a 4 or less. What do you want for 37 US $ 40 Sing $ . Uneducated travelers like Os opinion has no value. Compare to what ? No common sense and crying baby attitude. Most of the people are Looking for a...

The hotel was easy enough to get to by taxi , convenient store was 2 mins away, surrounded by embassy and traffics , getting around would take 20-30 mins walked to get to some tourist attractions, staffs weren't so friendly, breakfast was more for Asian catering . Room was ok , not that cheap and if you can get something...

I like their buffet breakfast which is very good costs like 250 bahts from 7 am to 10.30 am. No live counter for omelette. Lunch was also good which was 229 inclusive of tea coffees from 12pm to 2.30pm. Small sushi counter was very good and options were very good for the price paid. Overall its more reasonable price and...

Ibis Sathorn offers a decent room to sleep and that's it. I stayed here over 4 nights and there were clearly shortfalls in the hotel. The towels have strange stains, and the pillow casings and bed sheets can be dirty. There is no toiletries provided except for a Lux shower-and-shampoo. This is disappointing because Ibis hotels elsewhere do provide basic...

The Ibis Sathorn is not in the best of areas, but the hotel does run a free shuttle to the nearest subway station which leaves on the hour. Otherwise it's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway. Rooms are pleasant but it is more orientated to business stays.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
