Visiting Bangkok with our adult children. Great central location at the #13 water taxi stop. Nice free breakfast. Khao San Road is nearby where shopping is best by night. Plenty of street food available as well. Interesting “fish spa massage “ available. Strange but true....More

We stayed in this Hotel nearly a week and had a room with river view. It was great. At night we could watch the ships with their great lights and during the day we had no walk time to get to the Pier, as the...More
I hardly recommend to book a river view room for a perfect place to stay in Bangkok. First of all, Bangkok like any other big city is crowded, dirty and fulllll of people everywhere you go, so this place is like a piece of heaven...More
We stayed at this hotel some years ago and our only problem then was that we had a city-view room which afforded loud music from across the street until the early hours, and therefore sleep quality was non-existent. However, the location is ideal for us...More
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

Hi I have no personal experience but friends that holiday with us there do. I checked and it was no issue the last few years for them. No extra charges as you pay for the room not per person. No passport or ID required for guests like some places do. Not an issue. But they have been repeat customers of the hotel so maybe a less rigid approach is given.
No, it is not! Bangkok is quite! Temples, different food, kind people, very different costumes, poor infrastructure, but very funny! Take care with what you eat and drink! And you shall go to the islands! Beautiful places!
