Pl6enty of eateries, markets &shopping malls.ferry into Bangkok centre 10minutes walk, 20 minutes into Bangkok, breakfast included but I must say very average, staff helpfull. To escape the " shut down BKK" launch day, my sister and I made a detour to Bangkapi and stayed at JL Bangkok. We booked a suite prior to arriving at BKK . Was disappointed to find the room dirty with cockroaches and the air conditioner blasting warm air. We had to change room. This room is a better condition...

Dear Rustycoffee, Thank you for your feedback. We've investigated the issue immediately. I'd like to assure you that this is an isolated incident and below our standard. We use pest control and prevention services on a monthly basis. Our hotel is located in a safe area and is not affected by the on-going political demonstration. Best regards, JL Bangkok

Stayed there 2 times 2 days this month... The first day there was a shortcut in the room followed by a big bang while we were taking a shower. The repairman tried to fix it Thai style which basicly means that they have absolutly no clue and they were trying to fix the shortcut with normal screwdrivers standing in a...

I spent 4 nights at this hotel in mid-November. I have stayed here several times before and love the owner's little grandchild. Upon arrival and seeing a suite for $10 more (instead of a room), and having access to the free Internet, I was stunned. In the U.S., I would pay 2 to 3 times more for a similar suite...

Hotel is nice enough, rooms spacious and pretty clean but for me, the staff were useless! I stayed here for 2 nights and it was my first time in bangkok. The receptionist was far from welcoming, and when asking another member of staff how to get into the main centre (the hotel is quite a way out) we were given...

This is probably my 8th time staying at the "JL". It offers tremendous value for the amenities (free breakfast, comfortable clean room with TV, A/C, refrigerator, clean towels, excellent hotel-wide housekeeping, free 24/7 wifi, onsite restaurant, and highly competent staff throughout). The hotel is located just off a busy Ramkhamhaeng Road, where vendors setup every evening to sell everything...and I...
