Arrived Bangkok at old airport, finding this hotel is easy. I just said to the taxi driver Patpong area (frankly speaking the driver couldn't understand English). Paid only USD 11. Check in process was fast, the reception was very helpful. She knew that I'm coming for the 1st time to this city and she helped me to find SIM card...

The moment you step into the hotel, you could feel like the ambience and environment is so conducive. Room is spacious and bed is very comfortable. A stone throw away from Patpong and can get food easily. Lots of ATM nearby and very safe to walk around in the night.

Excellent hotel and service, food was very good. Book a room on the SPG floors and you get free soft drinks, afternoon tea, canes and happy hour with free alcoholic drinks in a lovely quiet lounge on the 26th floor. Brilliant and relaxing. Definitely recommend.

Service is perfect. It's makes me curious how come every single staff is so attentive. I asked for directions to nearby clothes alteration service and the service crew (Mr Born) volunteered to made a call to a nearby tailor. It turns out to be a FREE alternation service due to good relation with the hotel. He prompted called a cab...

This was my second stay at the LM Bangkok, the 1st one came 2 years ago and nothing has changed. It was just simply superb! This is what the 5 star hotel experience should be. Warm smiles and service greets you the minute you walk into the grand, art gallery-like lobby. SPG Elite members are recognized right off the bat....

The staff make you feel welcome when you walk through the door. Beautiful layout, huge lobby, quick front desk check in. Room had a great view of the city. The bed was awesome--excellent sheets, pillows and duvet. Tub and shower. Nice bath amenities. Had breakfast daily on the 2nd floor. Huge selection of food, all freshly prepared. I definitely had...

Le Meridien Bangkok was the first hotel we visited during our Thailand Holiday. The room was clean and nice. The location is great and central to most everything. All of the LM Staff were very kind, accommodating, and helpful.

We were traveling with our 10 and 14 yo kids and were given lovely corner connecting rooms. Felt like our own private suite! SPG platinum benefits: Free breakfast- extensive. Free happy hour by pool (so relaxing and incredible service). And two pieces free laundry every day (loved this as we were traveling for 3 weeks!) A few minutes walk to...

We just completed our third stay at Le Meridien Bangkok. This hotel is, hands down, the best of the Starwood chain. The location is excellent and just steps away from limitless dining options, activities and entertainment. Both skytrain and MRTA are close by and you can be anywhere you want to be in less than 30 minutes. Breakfast at the...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
