Excellent location in the Silom area in Bangkok, many restaurants, clubs, bars are nearby, you walk out of the hotel and you are immediately in the nightlife, the Patpong night market is opposite the hotel and if you want to use public transport you are so on Silomroad for the Skytrain station Sala Daeng, from here excellent connection to the Chao Phraya River Express boats the way to get to the sights in Bangkok.

The rooms are really top well-furnished such as automatic darkening, both during the day and at night, good beds, an extensive bathroom with a separate Japanese toilet where you have the option to automatically clean with warm water and dry with warm air, an experience separately.

The hotel has a fine restaurant “Latest Recipe” where a very extensive breakfast is served, for lunch you can order dishes from the menu or, as I always take, the extensive buffet of Thai and Western dishes, during the weekend this is already rich buffet even more extensive highly recommended. What I particularly liked is that the Chef was always in the restaurant to monitor the quality but also to answer questions or wishes of guests, he was there at breakfast and lunch, probably also at the dinner, I did not use dinner here, you do not often see this high class.

This is clearly a hotel with staff who know how to spoil guests nothing is too much to ask for, yes this is my hotel in when I am in Bangkok in the right place with a great team.

Le Meridien on Surawong road is still my favourite place to stay in Bangkok. It's been 5 years since my last review so I thought it's time to add a fresh comment. The location is excellent and the style is still chic & upbeat, just the way I like it.

The hotel is well maintained indeed as the years have affected the public areas very little. The pool and spa services have improved over years with the pool bar now also serving thai food and light snack in addition to the pizzas and burgers (that are too much for me in the Bangkok heat).

While the spa looks pretty much as it always did, the service has slowly improved to be absolutely amazing. They sell/upsell their services without being pushy at all and most importantly - the spa artists are fantastic!

I usually always book the exec room or avantec suite as the rate difference is often minimal compared to vista rooms and they include the fantastic breakfast buffet and the "Creative hour", which actually is a 2-hour free flow of wonderful cocktails and savory snacks. Try the lychee martini is you like sweeter cocktails or the ginger mint lemonade if you want a really refreshing experience!

This hotel is easily one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. Very centrally located in Silom, only a 5 minute walk to the BTS and the Silom complex shopping center, it is across the road from the Patpong night market and is surrounded by many eateries and massages shops. The room itself was large, with a day bed next to the window and the bathroom contained a large bath and separate toilet. Staff were friendly and cheerful. The breakfast contained everything you could possibly eat. From various types of yoghurt and cereals, to home made pastries and bread. There was also a wide variety of hot meats, eggs, nuts, fruit, rice, noodles and many more.

The Meridien Bangkok is quite simply amazing, I could not find any fault with the hotel, being greeted by the famous Thai smile from the staff at the front desk who made the check in process simply seamless. The Bellman kindly informed the hotel's information and a quick room tour in the room, sometimes you find some bellman standing by the door expecting a tip but not here, he just smile and thanked for us i had to call him back in order to tip him.

I always enjoy a hotels breakfast and this place does not disappoint, the choice on offer was amazing i never seen such a spread for breakfast i was amazed.

The hotel is located is a great location just a few minutes outside and you'll find yourself surrounded by food vendors with tons of local cuisines to choose from. Dont be afraid to try something new Thai food can never taste bad,

This hotel offers an excellent location for anyone wanting to stay in the Bangrak district (Patpong night market, Lumpini Park, Silom road) of the Bangkok city. This district offers a bustling night life scene, as well as an excellent selection of restaurants and skybars (even a red lights street). The hotel is almost strategically located, very close (5min walking distance) to a Metro (Sam Yan) and a Skytrain (Sala Daeng) stations, which affords excellent access to the rest of this large city (both riverfront, Royal Palace and many of the shopping malls). That is a big plus considering the Bangkok's traffic jams!

Another big plus of the hotel is an amazing breakfast, offering both Western and Asian food styles. The choice is truly extensive; there is even a Japanese station (not to be missed). :)

Hotel staff is simply amazing! This is Asian hospitality at its best. What can one say when the concierge gives you a hand-written Christmas card (after we booked a day trip through him). Our personal thanks goes to the Mr Graph for his help and kind wishes.

I have stayed at Le Meridien Bangkok multiple times last year and was back again February this year. From my experience, this hotel have been consistently excellent.

I provided feedback on some issues from my previous visits which was quickly responded to through email. There were also addressed upon check in by, I assume, the duty manager that night. Excellent service recovery and I feel genuinely the drive to improve and provide the best experience for guests.

I love the location of this hotel. You get the convenience of transportation, many shops and restaurants nearby, nightlife and an area that have a mixture of both tourists and locals.

The room design was well thought of. Spacious and comfortable. Great toilet with big sink area and separate toilet and shower area.

The staffs are always smiling and welcoming once you stepped into the lobby. I would particularly like to highlight the housekeeping lady. She was a superwoman as I see her working just one person cleaning all the rooms, in my level at least, and doing a perfect job of it.

Some minor issues with my room 2101, aircon temperature control does not work above 23/24 degrees, only valve was on/off at that temperature. Shower area floor not sloped to drain so water remains stagnant. Another consideration for upgrade is the vga connector provided beside the bed could be upgraded to hdmi which most laptops use now.

I had a fantastic two nights here recently and was wowed by the kindness and enthusiasm of the staff. It is led right from the top by Killian, the General Manger, who is very personable and who is always visible helping out his staff whether it is clearing breakfast crockery or helping the Concierge Desk to hail taxis. Emily on the front desk was also excellent. I had loved my 22nd Floor room with its fully round bed, round cushions and round furniture. It was like measuring the Width of a Circle in the most positive sense. The nightly Creative Hour starting at 5,30 p.m. in Bamboo on the fourth floor is excellent, a real treat for the senses and palate- while the Gym and Pool facilities on the 6th floor are also impressive. The hotel's location on Surawong Rd. is also highly convenient.

Having stayed at the hotel for more than ten times, I once again had my 5 night stay in Le Meridien Bangkok from January 24 to 29 during the Chinese New Year. Still very hospitable as it used to be, it has a very nice team that spares no effort giving its guests a pleasant stay either for business or pleasure. Firstly, thanks a lot to front desk manager, Emelie. She gave me warm greetings upon my arrival, trying to assist me to arrange all that I might need during the whole stay. Also, chief concierge Mr. Kok and his team fellow Mr. Graph spent much time helping arrange my restaurant reservations, transportation and even weather condition reminding whenever I approach them for assistance. Staff at main entrance are all very courteous and helpful with smile for guests’ safety and tour comfort. Of course, there is no need to mention again that their buffet breakfast is a nice plus in such a highly competitive hotel market. Though new and luxury hotels in the city emerge all the time, I do feel that all the people in Le Meridien Bangkok makes it possible that it is still one of the best in Bangkok. I am its loyal fan!

Arrived at BKK with family (4 in all) and was driven promptly in a van to the property. Temperature check, Covid test, luggage sanitized, and then check-in all went smoothly.

Placed in 2 connecting rooms on the top floor (24th). Clean and very comfortable rooms with great city views for the next 15 nights. The room is well stocked with everything we need. The rooms come with a kettle for boiling water, French coffee press maker, PPE set including sanitizer, microwave oven, and plenty coffee/tea supplies. Vast bathrooms with separate tub and shower, heated toilet seats, and ample fancy toiletries. All our requests were met without hesitation (Christmas tree, firm pillows, extra coffee cream, etc.). The General Manager called on the second morning to personally welcome us and offered assistance in case we need it. Very gracious and reassuring gesture to begin our quarantine.

Wanted to give a huge shout out to their staff for the great service especially the food service personnel, the kitchen staff, and all employees. Not only the dishes are delicious with quality ingredients but the operation itself was such a tremendous undertaking accurately delivering all meals hot and on time 3 times a day for the 15 days we were there! Food at Le Meridien ASQ was scrumptious and we looked forward to every meal. Although looks/tastes appealing, it was also healthy. My weight, BP, and blood sugar all dropped during the ASQ and we were fed good.

Staff were very accommodating and did not let us feel that we were in quarantine. All our requests were granted promptly. One staff member wanted to personally escort me to Sala Daeng BTS Station (about a KM) upon completion of ASQ and checking out. My family had a ride and took our luggage to our next hotel (HR Sukhumvit) but I wanted to walk and take the BTS after checking out. I thought that was incredibly awesome.

Thank you all & hope to see you again post-Covid.

The Le Meridian provides a true 5 star experience. From the moment Michael the Concierge opened the door of my taxi and greeted me by name (obviously remembering me from a previous stay), until I checked out four-days later, it was a flawless stay. The hotel had only been open for a week following their Covid-19 closure, so occupancy was exceptionally low, but the hotel was fully open.

Khun Lo quickly checked me in, upgrading my room to a suite due to my Platinum status. Because of the low occupancy, I had a chance to chat with both Michael and Lo. They were professional, knowledgeable, and I could sense their genuine concern for their guests. While everyone was wearing a mask, their smiles were shown through their eyes.

Although the hotel doesn’t have a club lounge, for platinum members, the Bamboo lounge provides drinks and appetizers daily from 5:30 to 7:30. It was a wonderful experience. Khun Son, who was there as well as at breakfast each morning, remembered what I had ordered the previous day. He and his colleagues provided exceptional service.

Due to low occupancy the breakfast was ala carte instead of a buffet, allowing guests to order as much or as little as they wanted from the menu. When I asked for French toast, which wasn’t listed on the menu , the response was “certainly”. It was the same response when asking for fresh mango. A Cappuccino from Khun Son came with a heart and my name written in the foam. Need I say more?

I’ll be back!
