I stayed here for one night, the first coming we all surprised with the room, we have booked 1 room shared for 4 persons, but the capacity for 5 persons. So I think its very spacious for us. I can't sleep well because the beds are very hard, like sleeping on board. the room was clean, but the smell of...

Stayed here after arriving late and needing to catch a train the next morning early and all the hotels near Lamphong seemed quite grotty.. Staff were excellent and even offered to bring breakfast forward 30 minutes to 6:30 since we had to leave really early. Nice and clean. It was only 40bht taxi-meter to the station and about 5 minutes.

I have just spent four nights at Take A Nap, and I have only good things to say about it, competitively priced, central location, very clean, friendly staff, relatively large rooms with enough personal space and no bunk beds, own area including personal safe, hot showers all the time....and ...and...and...FREE high-speed WIFI all over the place. If you are coming...

First time I was here was with 5 other friends, so we got to check in the dorm room. Good value for our Baht. There were power outlets for each bed, a small table, a tiny space to hang our clothes/towel. The bed was a bit too low and hard for me, but all in all, I enjoyed my stay....

The hostel is quite clean, its positon is great, few steps from BTS. Everytime I visit Bangkok, I stay there. Actually rooms aren't so big, but they're pretty clean and confortable. In the morning I had a big breakfast in a kind of dining room: milk, tea, coffee, jam, sugar, bread are available. The reception is open 24/24 Emanuele

We stayed here for a night. Made reservation online, paid 10% deposit to secure the booking. Then we left for Cambodia, left our luggage for free and came back to stay for another day. I love the proximity to the train station. The rooms are basic and quaint. The hallway is charming, it has a courtyard feel to it. The...

My husband and I, together with his brother and sister plus spouses, went to Bangkok last Nov 27. Arrived late at Take a Nap and we were accommodated by a friendly counter person. We booked a dormitory for 7persons and since we're already 6 persons, we had the whole room to ourselves. The beds were clean and comfortable, the shower...

I stayed in 101 central park. Its ok for what I am paying, with wifi connection, hot water, air cond. However, it could be quite hard to sleep at night when the upstairs occupants start talking and I actually heard that moron saying, "Gan Bei" (bottoms up) at 2am. It could be the thin flooring or walls or whatever that...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
