What you are basically paying for is the location of the hotel which is near the subway, restaurants, shops, etc. Rooms are basic but it has the added advantage of having a plunge hot spring tub. Somehow the water doesn't seems to give the same quality or effect as those from the other hot spring hotels we have stayed further...

Resort/Hotel is very near to Xin Bei Tou Station, very convenient. Room is dark even if all the lights are on. Cleanliness can be improve especially the tub. It's kind of disgusting with all the stain in the bath tub. Other than that is fine. Nearby attraction include Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Ketagalan Cultural Center and Geothermal Valley.

Great location can see it from the MRT station exit, first room was dinky and rank, paid more for a larger room with windows looking over the front street much better. This area promoted as a tourist area, actually it's more like a like a shabby suburb that has hot water smelling of sulphur running through the rain water drains....

Location location location. Near New Beidou MRT station and many other eateries which include MacDonald's, Mos Burger, 7-11 and others. The Beidou hot spring museum is just opposite of the hotel too! Convenient. Another good note would be the 24hrs hot spring water to my room bathroom and this suits my family really well. However the breakfast within this hotel...

Receptionist are not friendly compared to other areas , even taxi drivers are more polite than the receptionist. We booked a Japanese Quad room for 3 persons, ok for 3 persons not more though. In good location near a train station and is surrounded by public hot springs as well as private bathhouses. There are local food stalls and a supermarket in the area. Rooms come with tatami sitting area and sunken bathtubs for your private hot spring experience. Common hot spring area in hotel is very basic and nothing to rave about.

The greatest thing about the hotel is the location. It is very near to Xinbeitou MRT (5 mins walk), facing the park. From the hotel, you can walk to all the major tourist attractions in Beitou. The next MRT station (Beitou MRT) is about 15 mins walk, and there is a market with excellent street food there. The hotel is...

Stayed here for 1 night with 3 friends. We had the 4 person tatami room. The room itself was great, they have a table with some snacks and tea which you can enjoy. The toilet was fabulous. Basically it's like a private hotspring where you can adjust the level of spring water to cold water. A little bit too small...

My wife and i and our 6 month old daughter stayed here for 1 night in room 5006 during our trip to Taipei and our short stay in Xinbeitou. The location is great, just near the MRT, close to 711 for cheap beer and snacks and only a few minutes walk to the public hot springs (if you want to...
