Ever find a hostel that's so cozy, so welcoming, you don't even want to leave? That's Nihao Taipei. Clean, quiet bunks, nice staff, a lovely common area that feels like the living room you never had. And it's cheap. The only downside is the drab downtown location, but it's a quick walk / subway ride to a lot of things,...

Its really a great place to stay if you just want a place to dump your luggage in a room, head out and enjoy Taipei, and return just to lie down on a comfortable bed. It is very well equipped. Well worth the money. No perks, no frills. No bed bugs, no problem sleeping. No complains.

Its location was really why we chose to bunk there the first night we were in Taipei. Located right next to the Taipei Main Station where we were catching an early train to Hualien the next morning, it also had a convenient 7-11 right at its doorstep. The 6 bedder female dorm was also nice. Not your usual bunk bed...

Room was clean, the bed, bed-sheet and pillow were clean as well. I could sleep very comfortly. This is my first time staying in...

Okay, folks. I'm middle-aged. Yet, I can still "do" a hostel from time to time. In fact, I like them still because they're, as many hostel-goers know, excellent places for meeting other like-minded travelers, regardless of age, culture, creed, color. I can afford something more expensive, but on a recent trip to Taipei, the hotel I was staying at didn't...

I would say this hostel's location, environment are really good and convenient. A spacious room for 4 persons, clean and speedy WIFI access. Although you can't have your meal inside the room, but they have a comfort lobby for you to have your meal. Taipei metro station just nearby, opposite the hostel you can find bank and further down there is...
