If you go to Nepal don't miss Tiger Tops! You will have an experience of a lifetime. The staff is amazing and what they teach you and show you is unforgettable. I loved spending time with the elephants. We trekked with them in the preserve and watched them bathe and drink in the river while enjoying the sunset and a...

This was our second visit to the Tharu Village. We were so impressed the first time that we wanted to bring our visitors to see for themselves the magic of this place. After seeing first hand the areas where they keep the elephants, we couldn't stop wondering why aren't other resorts doing the same? You can clearly see how happy...

It's a long and bumpy journey to get there but it is worth it for the overall experience. The accommodation is simple but adequate, and the food is OK but this is sort of incidental as you don't travel all that way for the room and board. The place has a great vibe and the people there make you feel...

We stayed three nights at Tharu Lodge. The food and service was as brilliant as ever. (We've been twice before.) We really enjoyed the guided morning walks between two elephants (and mahouts). It was so peaceful as there weren't other people in the forest at that time. We love the long house style of the accommodation and enjoyed the pool.

There is the option to stay in 'posh' tents or rooms. The staff are really attentive and almost all get the balance right. The pool is fine and there are loungers but they could be more comfortable. The food is delicious although I was a bit surprised to be served European food in the evening. There are lots of opportunities...

I was fortunate to be able to participate in an elephant Footcare workshop led by elephant expert Carol Buckley Sept. 10-15, 2016 at Tiger Tops Elephant Camp. It was the end of the monsoon season and so TT elected to house us in the lodge instead of the tents. I can't praise this establishment highly enough! This goes for every...

We had always wanted to visit Chitwan, and scoped possible family-friendly lodges with access to the park. We wanted to see animals, explore and speak with locals to get a sense of life on the edge of the park. We opted for Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge as it provided this option for comfortable, responsible tourism with a sense of how...

We had heard about Tiger Tops for a while, so we really wanted to visit it during our first trip to Chitwan. What they have done here is *exceptional* It is a great place for the elephants (which are not chained and have a HUGE area to roam around freely in their corrals) and to learn about their daily routines....
