The lady at counter literally shouted at us while we were checking out. It really was a bad experience. Otherwise rooms were moderate and at good location. Don't take the room near the main road , it is really disturbing.

Room was clean and linen was fresh which made it very comfortable and convenient to stay at Fairmount Hotel. Location is right in the center of Pokhara, not in the nicest street but you have plenty of restaurants and activity organizers around. I couldn't get hot water the first night but it was fine in the morning. Bathroom was clean...

Rooms and beds are comfortable, a very good budget hotel, with an excellent location close to shops and lake. It is not on the lake itself, about 2 blocks away. Be sure to request a room in the back. During my 2014 stay the dancing hall, attracts primarily westerners, is quite noisy in the evenings. Several good restaurants across the...

We stayed here in September and had the hotel to ourselves. Our room was basic but clean with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was basic and we would have done better eating elsewhere in Lakeside. Despite advertising a generator, this was not used during power cuts and the room became unbearably hot. You get what you pay for with the...

Stayed here during the earthquake incident. Although the hotel looks tired and seemed to require refurbishing, that aside, my partner and I are very grateful to the hotelier and staffs. They assisted us in all possible ways to find a flight back to Kathmandu in order for us to catch our connecting flight. Eventually they did succeed in getting us...

A good location and friendly staff. We thought the room could do with a bit of updating and the beds were quite uncomfortable. However the shower was fantastic and the laundry service was good. Would recommend the place purely because of the hot shower and nice staff who were very helpful. Note that they lock up early so no good...
