Detailed Reviews
We stayed at New Summit Guest House twice, before and after trekking in the Annapurna region. It is a quiet, homely family run guest house where we felt very welcome. The hosts cared for us and made us feel most welcome. The guest house itself is a well maintained original large house with spacious rooms, a roof top terrace and lovely garden.
The hosts were able to give lots of helpful local information. They also provided a delicious large breakfast and home cooked dhal bhat for dinner if we requested it.
It is within walking distance of Fewa Lake yet away from the main tourist area.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the New Summit. Raj is an excellent host and did everything he could to make our stay comfortable. The garden is very pretty, full of flowers and very peaceful. We had a spacious room with en suite and a large balcony on which we were able to dry our clothes.. I recommend the New Summit Guest house very highly

What a lovely guest house. A warm and friendly welcome over a milk tea followed by great service and support during our stay. Comfortable accommodation with lovely rooms and a brain view of the mountains from the roof.
Guest house is close to the centre and has everything you need.

We booked 6 nights here with a room with terrace and balcony. Arrived and given a different room, room 101, the room everyone walks by, so conversations are heard. The windows face the court yard and by the walkway to the stairs. Absolutely no privacy unless you keep curtains closed. The owner told us we would stay in this room for 2 nights and then he would move us to the room we had booked. We were given a substandard room on the bottom floor without privacy. We checked out the next morning. We read the reviews about how nice and friendly and helpful the owner is. But if there is a problem he was not nice, he blamed me for not accepting the change he made with my room booking.

Very peaceful and pleasent to stay. Owner is very helpful and nice. Given the budget stay its worth it. It has a small garden where you can have your tea and breakfast if you want. It’s a 5 minutes walk from the east of Lakeside but it will be a warm up to see the beuatiful lakeside. I would recommend this hotel.

My partner and I spent 2 nights here to enjoy the spacious and clean room, the filling breakfast, the quiet environnement and to spend some time with the very friendly owner. Really nothing to complain about as everything was just perfect. We highly recommend this place for couples.

The staff is very helpful (Mr.Raj and his lovely family), the rooms are very cozy, classy and clean, the breakfast is very delicious, very awesome view of the mountains from your balcony, the only drawback is no TV in rooms (which is not so important).

We spent two nights at the. Guest house and were blown away with the hospitality. Tea brought to our rooms to welcome us by the very friendly manager, offerings to he,p us in anyway possible. We arrived later than expected because of traffic, meaning we didn't get there until quite late in the night. The hostel manager still managed to organise paragliding and a few other activities we wanted to do the next day on such short notice.
The driver we had hired for the weekend didn't speak English, so we were very thankful for the hotel manager to be able to translate for us and to explain to him where we wanted to go.
The rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, and the beds were pretty good too!
The rate was incredibly cheap - great value!
Will definitely be back next time we're in Nepal!

A tranquille guest house little bit away from busy Lakeside road. Beautiful surroundings, small garden with many blossoming trees and flowers. Good to sleep in clean and cosy rooms with bathroom. The owner’s very friendly and helpful. And the housedog Kale’s is so precious!

This relatively small 3 storied guest house with only 5 but spacious rooms is run by a family who live downstairs and first/second floors are for guests. Only 5-7 minutes walk from the lakeside in a nice and quiet neighborhood which is perfect.
The owner, Mr. Ekraj Adhikari, is a super nice and kind gentleman and also very professional with lots of interesting stories. He can also help with bus/flight tickets and other touring arrangements and information, if needed.
Property is absolutely home-like cozy and neat with hot water, wifi and a lots of books! Nice little lawn with garden to sit or to have foods. View of Annapurna range from the rooftop is a bonus (on a clear sunny day of course). They also have an adorable dog named Kalu.
Healthy and tasty breakfast at a very convenient cost. For lunch and dinner, they serve Nepali food mostly which I didn't have though.
As I've been to Pokhara quite a few times, this has been the best place to stay so far given the very convenient rent, excellent hospitality and services. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed.
