Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked 6 nights here with a room with terrace and balcony. Arrived and given a different room, room 101, the room everyone walks by, so conversations are heard. The windows face the court yard and by the walkway to the stairs. Absolutely no privacy unless you keep curtains closed. The owner told us we would stay in this room for 2 nights and then he would move us to the room we had booked. We were given a substandard room on the bottom floor without privacy. We checked out the next morning. We read the reviews about how nice and friendly and helpful the owner is. But if there is a problem he was not nice, he blamed me for not accepting the change he made with my room booking.

What a lovely guest house. A warm and friendly welcome over a milk tea followed by great service and support during our stay. Comfortable accommodation with lovely rooms and a brain view of the mountains from the roof. Guest house is close to the centre and has everything you need.

We stayed at New Summit Guest House twice, before and after trekking in the Annapurna region. It is a quiet, homely family run guest house where we felt very welcome. The hosts cared for us and made us feel most welcome. The guest house itself is a well maintained original large house with spacious rooms, a roof top terrace and lovely garden. The hosts were able to give lots of helpful local information. They also provided a delicious large breakfast and home cooked dhal bhat for dinner if we requested it. It is within walking distance of Fewa Lake yet away from the main tourist area.

A tranquille guest house little bit away from busy Lakeside road. Beautiful surroundings, small garden with many blossoming trees and flowers. Good to sleep in clean and cosy rooms with bathroom. The owner’s very friendly and helpful. And the housedog Kale’s is so precious!

This relatively small 3 storied guest house with only 5 but spacious rooms is run by a family who live downstairs and first/second floors are for guests. Only 5-7 minutes walk from the lakeside in a nice and quiet neighborhood which is perfect. The owner, Mr. Ekraj Adhikari, is a super nice and kind gentleman and also very professional with lots of interesting stories. He can also help with bus/flight tickets and other touring arrangements and information, if needed. Property is absolutely home-like cozy and neat with hot water, wifi and a lots of books! Nice little lawn with garden to sit or to have foods. View of Annapurna range from the rooftop is a bonus (on a clear sunny day of course). They also have an adorable dog named Kalu. Healthy and tasty breakfast at a very convenient cost. For lunch and dinner, they serve Nepali food mostly which I didn't have though. As I've been to Pokhara quite a few times, this has been the best place to stay so far given the very convenient rent, excellent hospitality and services. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed.

Owners are lovely and very helpful, food is good and the accommodation is nice and clean. Unfortunately there appears to be a bus depot next door with a racket going on at 4:30 am. Also ended up paying more than expected as the owner charged NPR500 for airport pick-up even though booking.com advised me it was free. Also found out later that airport pick-up/drop off is only NPR250-350. Important to do your homework and clarify ahead of time what the charges are. Happy to pay what is fair but sad when you are left feeling taken advantage off.

This place really made our stay. It is not only quiet and off the tourist street, it is owned by such a sweet couple and their dog Kale. They make a delicious breakfast which is included (try the porridge and French toast, perfect before hiking!) and really go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. You are greated with a welcome tea in their garden and they are more than willing to help you with your plans while visiting. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable. He treats you Iike family and is always ready to help you with everything. The rooms are big, clean, cozy, very confortable and with a great view. You also have hot water. The guesthouse is very well located, it is only 5 min from lakeside, in a very quiet place. There is also a really nice rooftop from where you can see the mountains. The wifi is working very well. You can have breakfast on the morning. Thank you so much for everything! If you’re going to Pokhara, this is the place to stay.

The perfect place to stay in Pohkara. Comfortable room, tasty breakfast, warm and helpful host. Good location, close to the tourist bus stop, you can just come walking after getting off from the bus. Also provided every information about travel that I needed. I enjoy my stay very much! Definitely will come back on my next visit. 很棒的地方!老闆非常熱情,提供給我們所需要的資訊,離巴士站也非常近,下車之後走過來即可。房間乾淨、價格也合理。
