Let me start of niet saying I ma nog a fussy traveller. But this "resort" is taking things just a little too far. The rooms are super basic with no hot water. The rooms are located within their house. But hasn't got a homely feeling. Concrete and old clutter. So after a couple of noisy nights in Pokara we were...

This was a bit of a disappointment. The lodge is reasonably well located, there is hot water in the bathrooms but the interiors and service were quite ordinary for the price. If they upgrade the rooms and paid a bit more attention to the service it could be a worthwhile choice for trekkers who do the route from Dhampus to...

we had two wonderful days in sherpa resort. Warm atmosphere, clean and cozy rooms and beautiful view from our windows. The viewpoint is one minute walking uphill. sometimes water in shower is not so hot, but its not about a hot water :) Some time later we will come again for shure.

I travelled to Nepal quite frequent with other friends and I will definitely put a night in this hotel by reason of great location to view the Annapurna Range at the back of the hotel and having your breakfast with the spectacular mountain view is priceless. The manager is very helpful in terms of your needs. Will stay here again!

This hotel had an old world charm, nice staff with beautiful pet dogs that really made the stay fun. the food was ok and the beds hard. But well worth the trip on a clear day. The village is cute but a lot of kids begging for sweet.

Also followed the Lonely Planet recommendation....its basic but well located on the ridge of Sarangkot. If you are in rooms 201 or 202 as LP recommend, you don't even have to roll out of bed to see the mountains at sunrise! Staff very friendly. Don't go if you like posh, or are expecting luxury, but its perfectly adequate with en...

The room price was up to two times from the first price that they're told us. Very bad! In the dinner times,we asked for hot chocolate that they told us about 7 cups but...

Yes, I also followed the Lonely Planet, and I am very happy about it! This place is not for snobs, and also not for people who try to find - literally speaking - a hair in the soup! This is the place for travelers who seek peace and tranquility! My room (I guess it was no. 202, a corner room),...

I had a fantastic stay here at Sherpa Lodge during November 2012. The owners and family were so accommodating, friendly and did their very best to help you. Yes the place is a little run down but they are working really hard to decorate but aside from decoration the Lodge is situated in such a beautiful place. The rooms were...

Sherpa Resort is highly recommended in the Lonely Planet and they even put an "Our Pick" symbol next to the hotel name. We followed the advice, got the recommended room at Room # 201. You can have a tiny peek of the mountains from the room window, not spectacular, nothing fancy, really ordinary. Restaurant was about 50% more expensive than...
