Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice hotel. Clean and comfy rooms. Great showers. They had an issue with hot water when we checked ina nd they got it fixed in an hour. Breakfast was included and a good spread. They are within walking distance of Fewa Lake, lots of food, shopping and massages. We stayed before and after our trek to ABC. We also got laundry done just outside. Some rooms of good views. you can even go to the top for views.

This a very basic but comfortable hotel. Rooms are nice with top floor having some great balcony views of fishtail on one side and lake/mountains on the other. Ask for 5th floor. The sun is only on the south side of balcony’s (lake/WPP). The beds a very hard they do not have bed toppers as described in another review, so the lovely staff gave us another quilt to put on the bed to sleep over. Some English TV channels. Kettle in rooms. They didn’t leave toiletries every day so you need to ask. Good location - a small walk to front/lake. The breakfast was very basic but the porridge was lovely. The Thali opposite was very good for £3.

Recently I booked Hotel Haven O' Ganga for three days family trip during New Year celebrations. The staff is the most hospitable staff that I have ever experienced. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is awesome, and the location is not bad. The top floors have the best views of fishtail mountain. The staff is always looking to address any concern and would take your feedback seriously. You can tweak your breakfast and the staff is happy to entertain the last-minute requests. Thank you!

I recently stayed here on and off between short trips in the area and was impressed by the friendly and attentive service. The staff were accommodating of our bicycles, helping us with taxi, and safely storing our luggage. The hotel is located right in CenterPoint, so a short walk to lakeside and all the restaurants. The staff were all very careful about wearing face masks to uphold COVID19 safety precautions. The breakfast is great and consistent (especially the potatoes), beds are very comfortable, modern lift makes it easy to reach your room when you are tired from trek, and the balcony is great. I definitely recommend a room 3rd floor or above for a better view and less noise from the street. Only suggestions for improvement are: - please brew better drip/filter coffee, instead of Nescafe instant coffee - shampoo and soap in the room are not great (don't foam well), we preferred our own - please include instructions in the room for how to use the TV - please place a floor wiper (squeegee) in each bathroom, as the water tends to leak from shower into main bathroom floor and there is no way to clean for the guest. Thanks for the great service!

The hotel service, hotel rooms was excellent. Best thing about this hotel was staff were superb and helpful. I stayed for 9 days in different rooms. Best room would be in 5th floor. If you are there in summer then, north side i.e mountain view side would be best and in winter south side of hotel would be best for it's sun bathing.

I was there last year (2019), in February, and it still bothered me that I hadn't written a review even though I had said I would, so that is why I am writing one now. While spending the rest of our holiday in a guest house, we decided to treat ourselves during our three-day trip to Pokhara! We haven't regretted it for one second. The hotel and the staff were absolutely lovely! They even helped us to get rid of a big spider (we were two girls). Furthermore, we got a little upgrade of our room. Thank you!

I sometimes visit Pokhara, like 2 times in a year. Whenever I visit Pokhara, I stay at Haven O'Ganga hotel, because it has very good quality and inexpensive price. It is very cozy, clean, and also is right next to the lakeside, so is very close to the fun sites. I literally love this hotel, and will keep using it in the future. To be honest, when I visit some other hotels, the bathroom is not so clean, and I oftentimes see that air conditioner is dirty. But Haven O'Ganga has very good shower room and clean air conditioner, and a large comfy bed. Breakfast is not like that of a luxury hotel, but it has everything I need, and is delicious too. Good job, and thanks for your good service all the time.

For people who've just been trekking, the beds may be okay. By western standards they are rock hard. I didn't sleep for three nights because I had constant back pain. Harder beds are normal in Nepal, but this one was worse than many others. My balcony had a view of a wall from the building next door.

Hi Jill, Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking time to leave feedback for us. While we believe many other guests' reviews saying our beds are cozy and comfortable, we have taken yours into account to make sure that we advise our guests that we could organise mattress toppers should that be requested for. We hope that your back pain has now gone and you had a good stay for the rest of your time in Nepal. Thanks again for helping us with your review. Happy holidays, Dilip Gurung and team at Hotel Haven O'Ganga

This modern hotel has good clean average sized rooms with western style showers, toiletries and plenty of towels. The firm bed was comfortable. The lakeside room have sunny balconies and mountain side shady ones. Breakfasts with limited choice were ok but no fresh fruit was available. The coffee was instant powered and not nice. The reception staff were functional and organized. They booked a good private car to take us to the bus station and the driver made sure that we were on the right bus before he left us which was very reassuring. Our two night stay was just perfect after trekking.

Dear kiwitravellernew, Thank you for your kind review with stars for Hotel Haven O'Ganga. Very much appreciated. We are glad that you stayed with us for your post-trek recovery. We always include seasonal fruit in our breakfast menu. Were the breakfast team replenishing the fruit bowls ad basket while you were looking for them? Our staff would have been more than happy to serve you at your table when the fruit were out. Sorry, you missed on them. Thank you again for staying with us and look forward to having you back when you're in town again. Festive wishes, Dilip Gurung and the team
