Stayed here before and after a trek in Nepal and very happy with the service and accommodation. As part of a group I saw several rooms and all were clean with fresh bedding and mostly quiet from street noises below. The hotel is very well placed near Thamel shopping and trekking businesses, and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast...

The best about Madhuban Guesthouse is its Owner Tarun, who helped us out whenever we needed help. If you plan going on the Everest Base Camp Trek and afterwards to India, Tarun will even organize your Visa for India...

I took their cheapest room, but it was quite OK. Not a great view from the windows, but their sheets & bathroom was clean, service...

I felt at home at Madhuban Guest House and as such I will definitely stay there everytime i come to Kathmandu. I had everything I asked for. Never had my water refilled (but purchased it quite cheap). Staff was more than nice. Location was just outside of the noisy Thamel.

Good room but smelling a bit musty from the overall humidity. Everything works door locks there's hot water you get fresh towel when you ask. All the basics are covered you can also refill you water bottle there. The coffee is good! Breakfast really nice.
