We had a very good experience with this hotel and staff. I had been to Kathmandu once 5 years ago . And the recent major earthquake in Nepal made me feel like visiting there one more time. Since I had a very bad experience of staying in a hotel in Kathmandu during my last visit, this time I did not... More

Hotel Access is open for business and just as friendly, welcoming and clean as it always has been. I returned to KTM after the quakes had hit after travelling round the east of Nepal. Was so relieved to know the staff were all safe. Just as importantly so is the hotel. I arrived back the day after the engineer had... More

I spent five nights in total at Hotel Access prior to the 2015 quakes (I was lucky enough to fly out the day before the first quake). The hotel is a very easy option for first time visitors to Kathmandu - you're right in the heart of the Thamel action, with endless dining options within walking distance (or a full... More

Stayed two nights in mid-April. Had a room on fourth floor with two single beds. The lobby staff spoke good English and were very helpful with any requests we made of them. We were able to exchange money at the front counter and we were able to leave our large travel packs in the hotel's secure storage room, for free,... More

I loved this place. It does not feel like a 2.5 star hotel. The staff are amazing, very nice and helpful. The room itself is nice and clean, as long as you aren't expecting bells and whistles. The location is great, right in the heart of Thamel. There's a supermarket nearby, restaurants, bars, and some travel agents. Plus all the... More

We stayed in Hotel Access Nepal on and off for about a month while we were in Kathmandu between trekking and safari expeditions. Our first room was amazing! It was on the 3rd floor, we had a very comfortable queen sized bed, a big TV, fridge and a great view. We really enjoyed going to the roof top restaurant for... More

Hotel Access is in a very good location in the tourist part of Kathmandu with many good bars and restaurants near by. The staff in the hotel can not do enough to help you and are always polite and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and we had electricity and hot water most of the time . . . a treat... More

I loved this hotel. It is in a great location at Kathmandu. The staff are very nice and helpful. Food is excellent, and the room was splendid. I had a very comfortable time while in here, and the hotel was not expensive. Highly recommended.

Although it was my first visit in Nepal, I could tell right away that this was a good hotel. The staff is extremely hospitable and welcoming. Additionally, they're in a central location in Thamel, with restaurants, shops, and other activities close by. From arranging rides and finding me ice when I was sick (when almost all of the shops were... More
