We stayed our last night in Nepal in this beautiful, eco friendly and cool place. The service was impeccable, the building was gorgeous, the room was clean and 100% cohesive with the rest of the place. The breakfast was tasty and well cooked. We loved this place!

Booked this hotel purely based on the picture and was not disappointed. The traditional architecture and furniture makes this hotel one of the most charming and relaxing places in Kathmandu. It was always a pleasure to come "home" and enjoy the peace and silence (surprising considering its central location right by Thamel). It's a little cold in the room and...

The staff at Kantipur Temple house definitely made our short stay most enjoyable. First, they will arrange airport pickup for only $10 (per car) each way. Second, they were there to greet me and my travel companion at midnight. Third, the building is so authentic, you might think you were staying in a temple. We met the owner at breakfast,...

For some of our group who traveled to Kathmandu, this was their second stay to Kantipur Temple House and for us, it was our first, but we already plan on staying there during any future visits to Nepal because our experience was so positive. On this trip, we stayed both before and after our 2-week Manaslu trek (which we booked...

We couldn't have asked for a nicer welcome to Kathmandu, or indeed Nepal, at this fabulous hotel. The location is perfect, just outside of Thamel and so close to everything without the chaos and noise. I was really wowed by the architecture from the outside, truly magical especially at night with all the candles lit. The much under-utilised restaurant was...

You find this ecofriendly hotel in the middle of town (in the area of Thamel) close to the Garden of Dreams. At night when around 100 of butterlamps are lit outside of the hotel the place becomes magical. Especially with its traditional Nepali architecture. The visionary owner puts alot of effort in keeping the cultural heritage alive and in implementing...

Wonderful staff, beautiful building and a great location in Kathmandu. Excellent food. Kantipur was our first stay in Nepal on a 3 week trip as a family of 4 with teenagers - it was an excellent place to get an introduction to Nepal.

We stayed here for a couple of nights just before and after our 10 day trek. The restaurant food was delicious - much much better that restaurants in the neighborhood. Management was helpful and quickly fixed the hot water in our room. It was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for walking around the neighbourhood which...

An absolutely stunning building, with exquisite service and facilities. We loved the Eco ethos of the hotel and the fact that they really do care for the environment. The staff were incredibly helpful and we're always available to make recommendations and to help book taxis etc. The beds were so comfortable, it was hard to get up in the morning-...

Excellent service, room which made our stay extremely delightful. Staff were very polite and obliging. Tastefully decorated rooms and corridor. One room for improvement is to improvise the breakfast menu.
