I stayed at Rosebud for 4 nights when I visited Kathmandu in June. Let me start with something I don't feel right. -Before arriving I have Booking.com customer service representative help me contact the hotel about my flight schedule (I put footnote in the booking page to inform the hotel as well.) so that the hotel can arrange a shuttle...

Very small room. No warm water. Tv, but doesn't work very wel. They over us only one dirty towel. Room is not clean. They let us pay 2000rp. They ask 2500rp. Later when we already payed we saw the price is much less. They are not honest.

I have been visiting Nepal on a regular basis for many years and when in Kathmandu I will only choose The Rosebud to stay! It has become a second home for many reasons. The staff are friendly and helpful and will organise all your needs for an honest price,,,from bus tickets to local tours and trekking...or just pointing you in...

I had a nice big room on the sunny side with nice hot showers. The bed had a good mattress. Wifi connection in the room was very good. The rooftop is lovely with all the plants and flowers. From the rooftop you have a great view to Swayambhunath temple. The staff is absolutely amazing. So friendly and helpful, feels like...

Had a beautiful sunny top floor room with great bed and hot showers. I felt like I was in a penthouse suite with awesome views across to Swayambhu temple. The staff were so lovely and helpful and they really began to feel like friends and family in a very short time. I loved the rooftop area, with its colourful potted...

For like US$45 that I paid at this travel agency called Abroad Travel or something like that just on the Nepal side of the Sonauli border crossing with India (well, actually some of that $45 was paid only upon check-in at the hotel), the people of this hotel & their affiliates (meaning people of Abroad Travel) took care of me...

Very tiny rooms but the beds are warm and cozy..no wifi available...authentication fails..no rooftop view..no body picks up the call at the reception..stinky bathrooms. The water doesnt even go out of the bathroom..fills in. Hell lot of electricity problem! BEWARE!enter at your own risk!

booked this hotel in Sonauli at the border with the travel guys that booked our private bus... were a bit hesitant but they offered early check in (6am) and the room rate was 1500, which between 3 you can't complain about. the room itself was basic but did the job, hot water, constant power cuts but thats all over nepal,...

Me n my family(My wife n daughter) stayed in Rosebud last month for 3 days during our Nepal trip.Although the hotel is situated in Chetrapati,which is an convinient location,but the surrounding is not that much nice.Many meat n chicken stores r there in street side.Hotel is a budget hotel,so dont expect much.The most painful n horrible thing is non supply...
